Some Meanings Deeper Than Record Snow This Winter Season

US-Drought-West       This site includes images of the United States in a predicted 1,000 year drought in the western half of the nation, and the equally frightening tearing apart of East and West through a wretched earthquake reaching from the Great Lakes to New Orleans. Now a picture of this country divided by implacable cold and snow in the eastern half of the nation becomes necessary. But does it have meaning?

In “Polar Vortex Brings More Historic Cold in Eastern U.S.,” Angela Fritz dramatizes this extreme winter: “ . . . the week’s record-breaking cold is not just Arctic, but Siberian air that has been trudging across the North Pole and into North America — leading many to refer to the outbreak as the ‘Siberian Express.’

“Wind chill warnings and advisories stretched from the Upper Midwest to the Deep South — even as far as Miami, where Friday morning lows around 40 degrees could break records for the date and will surely be the coldest air that southern Florida has seen . . .

“The National Weather Service warns that imminent, sub-freezing temperatures will kill crops . . . Some temperatures in the Upper Midwest plummeted to minus 35 . . . Widespread sub-zero temperatures were recorded from North Dakota to Kentucky and east into Pennsylvania and New York.”

But perhaps most significant she adds:  “Contrast the Eastern Seaboard cold with the above-average temperatures in the West, where record highs fell this week. On the north slope of Alaska, temperatures were running an astonishing 40 degrees above average . . .” See––divided again!

In ‘Dakotas See Record Highs Even as US North-East Digs Out From Record Storm,’ the Associated Press (AP) exclaims: “As a blizzard slammed the north-east, mid-winter warmth was breaking records in the northern Plains.
Record-high temperatures for this time of year in the 50s and 60sF were set in parts of the region on Monday, and Tuesday temperatures were expected to climb even higher – into the 70s even in south-western South Dakota.” How is that possible?

In another article, ‘Winter Keeping Its Icy Grip Around The Eastern U.S.,’ AP adds: “The cold snap Bad-snow-conditionsfollowed snow and ice storms earlier in the week, and weather forecasters warned that more sleet and freezing rain will be possible in the coming days. Residents also had to deal with more school cancellations, power outages, road hazards and water main breaks.”

Does this whacky weather reflect the way our nation is so divided politically, economically and spiritually? Political rhetoric is anything but civil, continuing to divide rather than unite our nation. Acts considered so immoral as to be unmentionable a few decades ago are now publicly lauded. Even spiritual leaders avoid mention of these things as it may influence song, sermon and TV popularity.

Remember the Words of The LORD Jesus Christ in wholesale Christian Bibles:  “And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand (Mark 3: 24 – 25).” Then consider that our nation has seldom been so divided against itself.  And think about these things even more so in view of what scientists say about that coming 1,000 year drought in the West, and the unspeakably massive earthquake that could physically divide what only our repentance and prayers can keep together.

Prophecy, Science, Sin & Nature’s Facts: U.S. Soon Split in Half?

100_7385    Scientific revelations about the Madrid Earthquake Fault predict that, if erupting, would split the United States in half from Louisiana to Illinois.  Now a different joint task force of NASA and university scholars predict that the entire Western half of the country is due to be ruined by massive unrelenting drought.

Tim Walker of independent.co.uk reports today:  “Since the turn of this century, the US south-west has spent more than a decade in drought. Last year was the warmest on record in California, which is in the middle of its driest spell for more than 400 years. But according to a new scientific study, that’s nothing compared to what comes next.

“In the paper, published by the journal Science Advances, researchers from NASA and Columbia and Cornell Universities warn that a vast swathe of the U.S., including the south-west states and the central plains, should prepare for ‘unprecedented drought conditions’ unlike anything in the past 1,000 years.”

In its discussion, Wikipedia explains: “. . . the New Madrid Fault Line, is a major seismic zone and a prolific source of intra-plate earthquakes . . .  in the southern and midwestern United States, stretching to the southwest from New Madrid, Missouri. . . . Earthquakes that occur in the New Madrid Seismic Zone potentially threaten parts of seven American states: Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee and Mississippi,” and many other states as well.

What’s more, both Christian and secular prophets have foreseen the same ‘end’ of the U.S. as it is now known, but not for the scientific reasons. In ‘Major Earthquake Coming to the Heartland of America, James Bailey writes about several U.S. ministers who have ‘seen’ visions and prophesied that the U.S. America-Dividedwould be split in half because of it coming betrayal of Israel.

“Pastor Shane Warren from First Assembly of God in West Monroe LA had a prophetic vision in which he saw the heartland of America split by massive earthquakes.” Minister Terry Bennett “saw” this headline:  ‘No Bridge Over Troubled Waters: An Impossible Deluge at the Mississippi River as 8.8 Earthquake Strikes.’ “Terry Bennett believes the Lord told him this headline, as well as many others he received, will come to pass by the middle of 2015.” Oops that’s this year!

Secular prophet Edgar Casey, who has a high percentage of prophecies come to pass, foretells that a Gulf oil spill will activate the quake: “As the Great Lakes, at 600 feet above sea level, rushes down the Mississippi River. at least 50 miles on each side, the 600 foot wave will destroy much of America, right down the middle. . . the Madrid fault line will blow: Goodbye, Chicago and Saint Louis, and all the other cities in its path. There will be no time to evacuate, and it will be impossible to try to outrun the rushing water from the TWO catastrophes.”

Bailey’s article was written in 2013 when some in the U.S. pressured Israel to cede some of its land to Palestine. In view of current tussles between the two nations, betrayals and divisions can obviously end with the same judgments.

But another reason for such catastrophes––whether mega-drought or nation-dividing earthquake––would be the massive era of unprecedented sinfulness in which America has steeped itself.  As wholesale Christian Bibles warn:

“The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God (Psalm 9: 17).” If there was ever a time for believers to pray for authentic Holy Ghost revival to sweep this country, that time is now (Hosea 6: 2).

Governments and Big Business Resist Life-Saving Changes

2011-nissan-leaf_100337270_m   As Global Warming’s dangers to Planet Earth’s become increasingly obvious to most people, hidden beneath what is known about its affects is what governments and big corporations prevent Americans and citizens in other developed nations from doing what they can do to stop it.

Simple innovations and common-sense practices could easily reduce the use of carbon fuels, the greatest cause of heating atmospheres, melting glaciers, and warming world oceans.  These include underground wiring, solar paneling, localized heat and hot water heaters, out-side clothes drying, more public transportation and high-speed rail lines instead of gas-burning automobiles, etc.

For instance, instead of spending billions on un-winnable wars, local, state and federal taxes could provide underground wiring which would prevent power outages and keep people from dying in harshest winter conditions.  Such safety measures would decrease the constant need of utility company repairs, which again use carbon-fueled trucks to maintain some semblance of residential power.

Allowing people to install solar panels on roof tops, using the sun to warm water and houses would again decrease such high dependence on carbon burning energy. But unfortunately, too many neighborhoods give little if any reason as to why these panels remain forbidden. Is it because politicians are heavily influenced by power companies not willing to reduce the use of carbon-burning energy?

A simple thing like ‘allowing’ homes and apartments to install water heaters under sinks, rather than in basements would greatly reduce amounts of power needed to bring warmer water from heaters in basements where water simply cools and must be reheated again, and again.

Yet major retailers refuse to sell such localized heaters, forcing people to buy the larger and more expensive ones.  And of course they don’t sell solar panels or light plastic roofing either, because the present roofing materials––i.e. tiles and tars––require carbon-based ingredients.

One wonders why some politicians fought so hard to prevent high-speed trains from serving the East Coast which would have saved billions in carbon-burning transportation.  But then it is well know that automobile companies use vast political powers to discourage public transportation.

Yet good meaning people kept fight for better lower-emission fuels, electric cars and other forms of non-carbon based transportation which have grown increasingly popular. One wonders if the increase in ‘cross-over’ car models is the truth behind Saudi Arabia’s drive to lower gasoline prices, so drivers won’t switch.

The one that gets me though are the gazillions of local ordinances forbidding drying clothes on drying_clothes_sold-fashion clothes lines, because “they lower the aesthetic value of neighborhood properties.” No, what they do is to keep people buying dryers.

Thousands of good-meaning people fight usually losing battles against such life-threatening allegiances between corporations and governments. But now the stakes are too high. Knowing the whole planet can go up in flames so that a few people can continue to make billions on carbon-based fuels, and knowing that workers can easily be retrained, money barons argue that change will cost jobs.

That not to change will kill millions of of people, they seem to care less. If only they understood the real ‘end game’––Judgment Day––then such selfish greed would not be so appealing.  But as used Christian Bibles warn:  “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows (1 Timothy 6: 10).”
