How Many Poisonous Chemicals Are In America’s Food?

Food-Toxic-Chemicals        Americans not living on farms or not having the time to grow their own food now find that supermarket foods can be dangerously unhealthy, so much so that the foods we eat can become our enemies.

In fact, Mike Adams, the Health Ranger from, claims just that in ‘Battle for Humanity Nearly Lost:  Global Food Supply Deliberately Engineered to End Life, Not Nourish It.’  He claims foods are contaminated with heavy metals, and other unsavory additives that can be deadly.

Martha Rosenberg sounds alarm over dangerous artificial multi-chemical additives in ‘5 Messed-Up Things That Are In Your Food,’ including:  azodicarbonamide; plastic micro-beads; brominated vegetable oils; high fructose corn syrup and artificial sweeteners; and transglutaminase or ‘meat glue.’

Both Adams and Rosenberg decry the chemical, azodicarbonamide––the same substance used to make yoga mats, shoe soles and other things rubber––used to make breads at Subway, McDonald’s Chik-Fil-A, Wendy’s, Arby’s, et al.

Adams writes:  “There is no logical reason why chemicals like azodicarbonamide need to be added to recipes of fast food breads and buns. The chemical serves no necessary functional or nutritive purpose. It seems to exists solely for the purpose of delivering the chemical to hundreds of millions of consumers by blending it into popular fast foods.”

Rosenberg adds that azodicarbonamide is “linked to deaths in animals and allergic reactions in humans.” Also that it is banned in Europe and Australia, and in Singapore, its use brings a prison sentence. So why is it still used in the U.S.?

With ‘10 Worst Food Additives & Where They Lurk,’ Brett Blumenthal adds even more dangerous additives: high fructose and regular corn syrups; ‘unknown’ fillers, preservatives, sugar substitutes; saturated and trans fats, already linked to diseases; artificial colors and flavors “made from coal-tar derivatives” that can cause asthma, rashes, headaches, RNA, thyroid, etc.
All these authors are against Brominated Vegetable Oil (BVO), a chemical used to boosts flavor in supposed Food-or-Poisoncitric-based fruit and soft drinks.  It is known to “increase triglycerides and cholesterol, and damage liver, testicles, thyroid, etc.”

Adams considers these chemicals to be bi-products of World Wars I and II Nazi era companies, such as I.G. Farben and Bayer:  “World War III appears to already be underway, and it is being waged as a stealth war via the food supply. The chemicals are very similar to those used in World War I and World War II except that instead of being deployed on the battle field, today’s chemical weapons are deployed via the food supply and often even listen right on ingredients labels.”

Then he adds:  “There are tremendous profits to be made, you see, from first poisoning the masses and then “treating” them for the side effects of that poisoning. This racket is so massive and so deeply embedded into our greed-driven culture that very few people even recognize it’s happening to them.”

So rather than being a profit-source for international corporations, or purchasing even more dangerously poisonous foods from China, if people are not able to grow their own food, then it is best to shop at farmer’s markets, co-op fresh food markets, or from food clubs having established networks with local farmers.

Christian messages make clear that man’s food is a gift from God.  Its provision is an example of His love for man:  “Nevertheless He left not Himself without witness, in that He did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness (Acts 14: 17).”  Only Satan, his evil minions and money-hungry followers could subvert such a wonderful gift.
