The ‘Silly Season’ Is Here: Watch What You Eat, Where You Go, etc.

posted by Dr. Ad Versery Bored @ 15:20 PM
May 31, 2013

Dr. Ad Versery:  Ok, Summer is officially here, and with it comes the ‘silly season.’  So my colleagues and I have rather urgent advice.  First, read my blogs about recent pandemics spreading across China, Europe and the Middle East to stay informed about spreading communicable diseases.

oceana-seafood-testing-kit-story-top    Frank Butterman:  Also review my blogs about bad foods, frozen meats, and ‘scary’ eats from foreign places.  Only go to grocery stores openly showing origins of their meat, fish, and produce, and informing buyers about Genetically Modified Foods (GMOs)––now illegal in Europe, Japan and elsewhere.

Ad Versery:  Remember last summer?  O.K. so don’t go around kissing pigs, hugging chickens, eating raw fish, or standing close to people who cough.  Health officials admit they don’t know how the newest communicable diseases––H7N9 Bird Flu and Coronavirus––are spread.

They may come from animals, but medical workers don’t know if these viruses spread through the air, from person to person, or even in hospitals.  But they do know that new types of flu have grown resistant to anti-flu medications.

Butterman:  Remember news reports last year about poisonous cantaloupes, phoney fish, or salmonella chickens ?  Investigate news about germ-infested meats, fruits and vegetables––including from news outlets in your area.  And read our ‘earthend’ blogs often. While major media sometimes downplays food scares to protect advertisers, our blogs, and other internet sources, try to keep you informed.

Ad Versery:  Wash your hands often, especially after using bathrooms.  And try to stay out of hospitals.  Anemona wash-your-hands-regularlyHartocollis wrote ‘With Money at Risk, Hospitals Push Staff to Wash Hands,’ in The New York Times this week:

“Studies have shown that without encouragement, hospital workers wash their hands as little as 30 percent of the time that they interact with patients. . . . All this effort is to coax workers into using more soap and water, or alcohol-based sanitizers . . . One puzzle is why health care workers are so bad at it.”  Apparently doctors resist hand washing instructions more than other hospital workers.

At insistence from the federal government, hospitals now use various methods to insure hand-washing, including:  motion sensors, video snooping, radio-frequency ID chips, electronic badges to track hand-washing––and rewards.

Rev. Repriestly:  Enough of this!  Hospital workers represent the healing power of God, as set forth in His Word.  They should not have to be forced to be clean.  This necessity was discovered hundreds of years ago in medical science.

Food is God’s ‘staff of life.’  And some grocery store owners willingly disobey Him by selling bad foods?  They gamble with their eternal futures:  As used Christian books attest, food is God’s ministry to man:  “Now He that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness (2 Corinthians 9: 10).”

WHO Switching Attention From China to Saudi Arabia & Beyond

posted by Dr. Ad Versery Bored @ 23:27 PM
May 30, 2013

coronavirus        If one chooses to believe Chinese officials, no new cases of H7N9 Flu Virus there have have been reported in the last two weeks.  So World Health Organization (WHO) officials now turn their epidemic sights to‘coronavirus’––a SARS-like disease that has killed 27 victims in Saudi Arabia and other countries.

Yet WHO officials admit they know little about this upcoming disease.  Called MERS-CoV for Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus, the disease’s source remains unknown.

Dr. Margaret Chan, Director-General of WHO and a native of China, said recently:  “We understand too little about this virus when viewed against the magnitude of its potential threat.  We do not know where the virus hides in nature.

“We do not know how people are getting infected. Until we answer these questions, we are empty-handed when it comes to prevention. These are alarm bells. And we must respond.” Of course, the same ‘unknowns’ apply to H7N9 Flu.

London’s Daily Mail says of the coronavirus: “Saudi Arabia accounts for the majority of confirmed cases, which stands at 33, according to WHO officials. Tunisia last week became the ninth country in which the virus has been confirmed.

“It is believed the disease is transmitted mainly from person-to-person contact, but so far does not spread easily germy-mouthamong larger communities. Authorities believe initial transmission of the virus was from animal to human but have yet to identify the animal sources.”  Cases have also been found in Britain and France.

According to ABC News, “The majority of the country’s [Saudi Arabia] cases stemmed from an outbreak at an Al-Ahsa health care facility, where 22 patients have been sickened by the virus and 10 have died.”

In ‘WHO calls new coronavirus ‘threat to the entire world’ as death toll rises to 27,’ The Extinction Protocol claims French officials advice travelers to Saudi Arabia to wash hand often and limit contact with animals.’

When attention was on China’s H7N9 Bird Flu, The Extinction Protocol and AFP News also reported: 1) The virus could be transferred by airborne exposure; 2) It had developed resistance to the medicine Tamiflu; and 3) It is spreading throughout the animal kingdom in China.

Regardless of which pandemic takes hold, WHO officials also told Agence France-Press that the world is not ready for any kind of mass pandemic.  That press quotes Keiji Fukuda, WHO Assistant Director-General:  “Even though work has been done . . . , the world is not ready for a large, severe outbreak.”

Resounding Christian messages make clear that believers must rely on God for protection from disease and for healing.  As The LORD Jesus promised in the first communion supper:  “And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you (Luke 22: 19 – 20).”

Broken Hearts? Time to Wake Up! The Past Can’t Be Rebuilt, Pt. 2

posted by Sarah N Worthy IATTWJ Member @ 23:16 PM

2013-hurricane-forecast      Politicians celebrate that refurbished Jersey Shore is ‘almost’ complete.  But they should acknowledge weather scientists predictions that this year’s Hurricane season will be even more active than the one that produced last year’s Sandy.

AFP News claims The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) predicted “the six-month Atlantic hurricane season beginning June 1 will see 13 to 20 named storms, seven to 11 hurricanes and three to six major hurricanes, with winds of at least 111 miles (178 kilometers) per hour.”

Gerry Bell, Lead Hurricane Forecaster in NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center announced, “This year, oceanic and atmospheric conditions in the Atlantic basin are expected to produce more and stronger hurricanes.  These conditions include weaker wind shear, warmer Atlantic waters and conducive winds patterns coming from Africa.”

NOAA Administrator Kathryn Sullivan adds:  “As we saw first hand with Sandy, it’s important to remember that tropical storm and hurricane impacts are not limited to the coastline. Strong winds, torrential rain, flooding and tornadoes often threaten inland areas far from where the storm first makes landfall.”

Environment News Service (ENS) adds “. . . a 70 percent likelihood [is] 13 to 20 named storms with winds of 39 mph or higher.  Three to six are forecast to become major hurricanes of Category 3, 4 or 5 with winds of 111 mph or higher.”

Americans should remember that Hurricane Katrina was a Category 3 storm when it hit New Orleans in 2005.  Yellow cabs line a flood street in Queens, New York in hurricane Sandy's wakeKatrina flooded 80 percent of the city.  And New Orleans citizens and public officials still argue over the actual number it killed.

ENS explains that three climate factors controlling Atlantic hurricane activity will come together to produce the strong hurricane season predicted:  1) The atmospheric climate pattern presently hovering overhead; 2) That pattern includes a strong West African monsoon that have been stirring Atlantic Ocean hurricanes since 1995; and 3) The continuing “warmer-than average water temperatures” in the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea.”

Again, weather prognosticators and politicians avoid using the term Global Warming.  It continues to produce such wicked weather, and people and their governments must face it, and start fighting against it.

The nation doesn’t need more broken hearts in Jersey, New Orleans, or anywhere else.  Moreover, no country can afford to keep rebuilding what Global Warming keeps tearing down.  The past cannot be rebuilt, but the future can be saved if we fight against its destruction, and trust God to save us from disaster.

As wholesale Christian t-shirts advise: “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths (Proverbs 3: 5 – 6).”

Broken Hearts? Sorry! Time to Wake Up! The Past Can’t Be Rebuilt

May 24, 2013

What are the old sayings:  ‘Time marches on . . .’  . . . ‘Money can’t buy you love’ . . . ‘Everything new is old again’ . . . . ‘What’s past is past’. . . or is Thomas Wolfe correct when he says? ‘You Can’t Go Home Again’ . . . .

New-Jersey-hurricane-destruction    America once was the ‘can do’ country!  But there are some things we can’t do––like, authentically rebuild the past.  Our money and ingenuity won’t work on that.  And unless this nation joins others on the planet to stem the tide of Global Warming, we soon won’t have a past, present or future to which to return.

In her report, ‘Rebuilding the Coastline, But at What Cost?, Jenny Anderson writes:  “When a handful of retired homeowners from Osborn Island in New Jersey gathered last month to discuss post-Hurricane Sandy rebuilding and environmental protection, Dr. L. Stanton Hales Jr.,” tried to reason with them.

Hales is a conservationist, and director of the Barnegat Bay Partnership, an estuary program financed by the Environmental Protection Agency. He could not have been clearer about the risks they faced.  According to Anderson, he explained:

“I said, look people, you built on a marsh island, it’s oxidizing under your feet—it’s shrinking—and that exacerbates the sea level rise.  Do you really want to throw good money after bad?”

But they answered emphatically: “Yes! . . . they wanted their children and grandchildren to enjoy the place that was so special to them.”  Later Hales said:   “It’s really hard.  But the reality: there’s no future there.”

Yet, even now up and down the East Coast torn asunder by Hurricane Sandy, workers rush to repair Sandy’s damage in time for Memorial Day celebrations.  As Hales warns, such restoration is not only expensive.  It is impossible to achieve.Restore-The-Shore-Ad

As Lisa W. Foderaro writes in ‘Racing the Clock in the Rockaways,’ money calls:  “ . . . the beach remains an engine of commerce, and a symbol of New York’s determination to bounce back.”  Planning to get tax money from sand?
New York City is spending $ 140 million to restore this famous beach park, including its five-mile long boardwalk, some million cubic yards of sand washed away, playgrounds, skate parks, and miles of subway tracks bringing riders in.

Most of this restoration work will not be completed for Memorial Day, but workers try to erect the best face possible.  But the face of things change.  Foderaro writes:  “The beauty of this area led to the proliferation of summer resorts in the 1830s, amusement parks in the 1890s and permanent neighborhoods in the 1930s, and was more recently discovered by Brooklynites in undersized straw fedoras.”

The 1830s and 1930s are gone forever.  The past cannot be resurrected. Perhaps our nation is in a state like Job’s when he wept in Bible prophecies:  “Oh that I were as in months past, as in the days when God preserved me (Job 29: 2).”

The end of destruction never came for Job until he repented of the things he said, and the things he failed to do.  If we want to prevent more Sandy Hurricanes, our nation must stop denying Global Warming, and start doing something about it.

Broken Hearts: ‘The Worse Tornado in the History of the World’

posted by Sarah N Worthy IATTWJ Member @ 1:04 AM
May 22, 2013

Tornado in South Haven, Kansas        Following the same path as its fellow-destroyer 14 years ago, a massive debris-filled tornado two-miles wide, cut a 30-square mile swath, yesterday hovering at least 200 miles per hour over Moore, Oklahoma, forty minutes over homes, schools, businesses, and more––until there was nothing left.

A local meteorologist for KFOR-TV labeled the storm:  “The worst tornado in the history of the world.”  Weather scientists agree this description is possible as this was a category F4 hurricane, and probably a category F5 on the Fujita Scale––the highest possible scientific measurements.

However, according to Smithsonian Magazine:  “Though the Moore tornado wasn’t the biggest, longest, or most destructive, the combination of its speed, size, and strength does make it a stunningly destructive storm.”

With the medical examiner lowering the death rate from 51 to 24, it nonetheless includes some nine children.  Jon Welsh, a helicopter pilot for KFOR who lives in Moore, said in the quake of the storm:  “This is war-zone terrible.”

Moore residents only received a 16 minute warning before the storm struck the town.  The city’s schools and hospital were leveled. The town’s mayor Glenn Lewis told NBC ‘Nightly News:’ “The whole city looks like a debris field.” Child saved after tornado

The Extinction Protocol says some 22 tornadoes ripped through Kansas, Nebraska and parts of Oklahoma last Sunday.  CNN adds:  “The twisters are part of a severe weather outbreak that is sweeping through parts of Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa and Missouri as the storms sweep east. Baseball-sized hail, wind gusts and tornadoes are threatening to pummel parts of the central Plains and Midwest.

Several questions loom over Moore’s reconstruction:  First, both of Oklahoma’s U.S. Senators have repeatedly voted against federal disaster aid for other parts of the country––latest being in the case of funding for Hurricane Sandy.  So how can they expect sympathy from their political colleagues now?

Second, this is the four major tornado since 1998 that has hit the town of Moore. Each time, with federal assistance, it has rebuilt.  Should it not have been expected that the town would have been better prepared for this last one?

Third, with such tornado experience and subsequent reconstructions, why was it not required that basements or underground shelters be placed near every home, and that solid underground shelters were built beside every school, as underground is the only nearly-absolute fool-proof survival area in tornadoes.

Fourth, few scientists deny that such horrific tornadoes are associated with Global Warming.  How long will this nation allow climate-deniers to refuse measures to stop man’s destruction of earth.  Wholesale Christian Bibles warn against such refusal to face facts:  “He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy (Proverbs 29: 1).”

97% of Scientists Agree: Global Warming Is Man Made

posted by Sarah N Worthy IATTWJ Member @ 18:06 PM
May 20, 2013

consensusproject_97percent2Another stupendous scientific survey resulted in 97% agreement that Climate Change (i.e. Global Warming) is man-made.  Published in the journal, Environmental Research Letters, the survey included some 29,000 scientists who had published 11,994 academic papers on the subject over a period of 20 years.

Suzanne Goldenberg of, quotes authors of the survey in ‘Climate Research Nearly Unanimous on Human Causes, Survey Finds:’ “ . . . the finding of near unanimity provided a powerful rebuttal to climate contrarians who insist the science of climate change remains unsettled.”

Insisting those dissenting against human-causing Climate Change as a “vanishing small proportion” of published research, John Cook from the University of Queensland, says: “Our findings prove that there is a strong scientific agreement about the cause of climate change, despite public perceptions to the contrary.”

Thus––thanks to crafty manipulation by corporate and political deniers––public opinion still lags behind scientific findings.  Although even  42% of average populations now believe that Global Warming is caused by human activity.

Moreover, Goldenberg writes, “The study blamed strenuous lobbying efforts by industry to undermine the science behind climate change for the gap in perception. The resulting confusion has blocked efforts to act on Climate Change.”

This new survey agrees about human responsibilities for Global Warming In 2004, Naomi Oreskes, historian at University of California-San Diego, also published a survey.  Her work found similar results of 97% of the scientific world Causes-of-Global-Warmingin agreement that human activity is causing Global Warming.

In ‘Survey Finds 97% of Climate Science Papers Agree Warming Is Man-Made,’ John Abraham and Dana Nuccitelli, also of, add: “We decided that it was time to expand upon Oreskes’ work by performing a keyword search of peer-reviewed scientific journal publications for the terms ‘global warming’ and ‘global climate change’ between the years 1991 and 2011.

“Our team of citizen science volunteers at Skeptical Science [worked on] . . . the most comprehensive survey of its kind.  Each paper was rated by at least two people, and a dozen volunteers completed most of the 24,000 ratings. The volunteers were a very internationally diverse group, . . . countries included Australia, USA, Canada, UK, New Zealand, Germany, Finland, and Italy.”

Scientists, researchers and volunteers hope these findings will persuade politicians to do more to address human causes of Global Warming.  But industrialists will still not want to disturb their profit margins.

One of the saddest stories in used Christian Bibles is about the sons of the great prophet-judge Samuel who refused to follow their father’s righteous teaching:  “And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment (1 Samuel 8: 3).”  At some point in this nation, which calls itself Christian, human life and planet Earth must exceed the importance of money.

As Usual, Japanese Leadership Stumbles Over Everything Past

posted by admin @ 20:07 PM
May 15, 2013

Ooook.  Most news about China is about their habitual fondness for disease-filled activities. So I am stuck with ‘news’ from Japan.  My problem is that the Japanese aren’t able to leave the past alone. They so desire to change history.

Korean-comfort-women        For instance, they finally agreed to sign a peace treaty with Russia to end World War II.   In ‘Japan and Russia Want to Finally End World War II, Agree It Is ‘Abnormal’ Not To,’ Fred Weir of Reuters writes:  “Russian President Putin and Japanese Prime Minister Abe  . . . wrestled for hours with the problem that has stymied Russian and Japanese leaders for almost 70 years: how to find a mutually acceptable and hopefully profitable way to finally end World War II.”  But all they accomplished was to set up a process to ‘draft’ a peace agreement.

Moreover, Japan won’t stop whale hunting even though their people don’t eat whale meat any more.  And even as deadly radiation from their failed nuclear plants seeps into world waters, they insist on building new nuclear plants.

But now––well aware they are insulting neighboring nations which insist Japan never fully apologized for their WWII atrocities––recently elected conservative government representatives recently justified their war practices of forcing non-Japanese women into prostitution was necessary and justified!

Malcolm Foster writes in ‘Toru Hashimoto, Osaka Mayor, Says Forced Prostitution Of Asian Women During World War II Was Necessary:’ the “. . . co-leader of an emerging conservative political party, . . . said the Japanese military’s forced prostitution of Asian women before and during World War II” was good.

Hashimoto explained:  “To maintain discipline in the military . . . For soldiers who risked their lives in circumstances where bullets are flying around like rain and wind, if you want them to get some rest, a comfort women system was Toru_Hashimoto_Osaka_AP407369767022_620x350necessary. That’s clear to anyone.”

Foster certifies that some 200,000 women, mainly from Korea and China, were “were forced to provide sex for Japanese soldiers in military brothels.”  China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei, responded:

“We are appalled and indignant about the Japanese politician’s comments boldly challenging humanity and historical justice. The way they treat the past will determine the way Japan walks toward the future. On what choice Japan will make, the Asian neighbors and the international community will wait and see.”

Japan’s refrains smack of inhumanity and valuelessness of women.  They have infuriated women in Asia, around the world, and even in Japan.  As Rev. Repriestly teaches us in Online Bible Lessons that world leaders should remember the Bible’s account of Nebuchadnezzar and repent of such pride:  “But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him: (Daniel 5: 20).”

More On Alarming Rise of Sinkholes––This Time in California

posted by Shopping4Bargains @ 17:10 PM
May 13, 2013

sinking-homes-sinkhole    Does anyone besides the crews at Earthend and a few other websites (including Worlds Collide) understand that increasing sinkholes around the world are sending earth’s inhabitants signals of pending destruction?

According to The Extinction Protocol and, $ 250,000 homes in Lake County, a Lakeport, California,––in ‘volcanic country’––some 100 miles north of San Francisco, are sinking fast into the earth, never to be seen again!

“Eight homes have been abandoned so far and 10 more are under an imminent evacuation notice after cracks appeared in the ground and entire sections dropped 10 feet into the ground.”

Scott and Robin Spivey had lived in their four-bedroom Tudor-style home for 11 years, but like many of their neighbors, they had to leave it when small cracks starting climbing up the walls.  By the time those cracks became huge fractures, their 600-square-foot garage had plunged some 10 feet below the street.

Scott DeLeon, the county’s Public Works Director, says that officials are just as confused as the devastated homeowners.  Admitting that some of the ‘movement’ is happening on shallow fill, DeLeon adds:

“We have a dormant volcano, and I’m certain a lot of things that happen here are a result of that, but we don’t know about this.”  A geologist warns that roads and structures can be compromised down to bedrock, 25 feet below surfaces.

“Considering this is a low rainfall year and the fact it’s letting go now after all of these years, and the magnitude that it’s many-houses-sinking-Lakeport-Californialetting go, well it’s pretty monumental,” DeLeon added.

In ‘’Slow-motion disaster’: California Houses Sinking into the Ground,’ Tracie Cone of Associate Press, who describes the neighborhood as “sweeping vistas of Clear Lake and the Mount Konocti volcano,” took her headline from Randall Fitzgerald, a writer living in the neighborhood, said “It’s a slow-motion disaster.”  Leaks from county water systems may contribute to the weakening.

Reporters claim all affected homes are slated for demolition, but the unstable ground can’t support the necessary equipment.  In fact, it is so bad that mail delivery is no longer allowed, and all 30 houses in the subdivision may have to go.

Homeowners  and the Lake County Board of Supervisors have petitioned California’s governor to declare an emergency to pay for county repairs and homeowner losses, as insurance companies claim such damages are not covered.

But, there are some things that politics and money cannot fix. Prudent believers should accept these increasing sinkhole disasters as warnings of far worse catastrophes to come.  As Christian messages promise, continuously calamitous sinkholes are signs of arrogant mankind’s push toward God’s final judgments:

“But if The LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, . . . and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked The LORD (Numbers 16: 30).”

Night Cometh: Christianity––Most Persecuted Faith on Earth! Part 3

posted by Sandra Repriestly @ 16:52 PM
May 9, 2013

article-2319841-19A2D597000005DC-698_964x631    Undoubtedly, Orthodox Christians around the world celebrated Easter with heavy hearts.  Muslim extremists force thousands of Christian from centuries-old homes, businesses and churches.  Others barely escape from their countries, while mysterious ‘rebel’ attackers murder or kidnap church leaders and their aids.

Orthodox Christians in Russia, Africa, Europe, America and the Middle East, etc. usually celebrate Easter later in the year than their counterparts in other denominations.  The priest at explains:

“Our original Orthodox term for “Easter” is “Pascha,” which is the Greek form of a Hebrew word, “Pesach,” meaning “Passover.” The Resurrection of Christ is the Christian Passover, fulfilling, surpassing, and REPLACING the Passover of the Old Testament.  So the first thing to note is that the Christian Pascha and the Jewish Passover are linked.”

Easter Orthodox services remain uniquely ‘miraculous.’  Each year worshippers welcome ‘blue fire’ lights of Holy Fire, when (according to Reuters):  “a mysterious ‘blue fire’ lights a candle held by the Greek Orthodox Patriarch in Jerusalem . . . the light is then shared with other clergy leaders and then spread to waiting worshipers who claim that the Holy Fire 00e-holy-fire-2012does not burn them . . .”

However, an actual Orthodox Easter service shown on on youtube shows the fire to be at least three other colors.   Before Easter, Orthodox Christians fast for 55 days, eating only vegetables. adds, “the Holy Fire is taken out to other Orthodox communities around the world via special flights.”  It is said that this Holy Light comes each year from the tomb where Jesus was lain before His resurrection.  Preparing for Easter Orthodox Christians fast for 55 days, eating only vegetables.

Such fortifications steel them for coming persecutions. The fate of two kidnapped Orthodox bishops remains unknown, but their driver was murdered.  Journalist Michael Carl in ‘Christians Have ‘Most to Lose’ in Syria,’ quotes Middle East analyst Aidan Clay working for International Christian Concerns:

“Though people from every political, ethnic, and religious background are suffering and targeted in Syria’s civil war, Christians have found themselves in a very unique and frightening situation, having widely chosen not to take up arms or to openly support either the rebels or the regime.”

In fact, MuteNoMore reporting for, ‘Syrian Christians Told Convert, Leave, or Die,’ confirms:  “Christians remaining in Syria have been given three choices by the American supported Free Syrian Army (FSA): convert to Islam, flee their homeland, or die.”

Do U.S. officials know they back such anti-Christian persecutions?  American Christians must respond to the treatment of their Orthodox brothers and sisters.  Self examination requires measurement of genuine Christian faith.  As wholesale Christian Bibles promise:  “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution (2 Timothy 3: 12).”

H7N9 -The Unknown Virus: China’s Chicken and People Pandemic

posted by Dr. Ad Versery Bored @ 21:51 PM
May 7, 2013

china-health-flu_poster2        Even as deaths from the H7N9 rise up to 24% of known cases, U.S. and international health officials don’t seem to have gained much more information about this death knell.  They don’t even know if China is telling the truth about how long the virus has been there, and exact case numbers remain illusive.

No one is sure if human to human transmission is present or possible.  It is known that a vaccine protection against the virus is not developed.  Moreover, while prior Bird Virus’ began in rural settings, this one started in urban markets.  And some suspect that market chickens caught the disease from common pigeons.

Alexander Abad-Santos of Reuters in ‘The Truth About Bird Flu Is We Don’t Know the Truth—But It’s Getting Worse,’ warns that scientists really don’t know very much about this virus.  The “grim reality is that China might not be telling everyone just how bad the disease has become, even as it becomes clear we don’t know how to stop it, and that it is the most lethal bird virus ever!

“Following concerns about a SARS-like “cover up,” China’s Center of Disease Control has stopped publishing its figures in English, just as the first new case of H7N9 popped up in the massive Hunan province—and on the verge of mainland holiday exodus.”

The Extinction Protocol (EP) quotes prominent virology experts in London who claim this virus has “several worrisome characteristics, including two genetic mutations that make it more likely to eventually spread from person to person.”

Colin Butte, an expert in avian viruses at Britain’s Pirbright Institute, told EP:  “The longer the virus is unchecked in circulation, the higher the probability that this virus will start transmitting from person to person.”li-china-bird-flu-04223198

EP’s associates also interviewed Jeremy Farrar, a leading expert on infectious diseases and director of Oxford University’s research unit in Vietnam, who “said the age range of those infected so far stretched from toddlers to people in their late 80s – a range that appeared to confirm the virus is completely new to the human population.”

Dr. Farrar continues:  “That suggests there truly is no immunity across all ages, and that as humans we have not seen this virus before.  The response has to be calm and measured, but it cannot be taken lightly.”

Apparently, this is one instance where science and international politics do not have the answers.  But God does!  As Rev. Repriestly advises in online Bible lessons it is time for Christians to renew their faith in God for physical healing:

“Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in The Name of The Lord:  And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and The Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him (James 5: 14 – 15).”
