Shaking Quake Swarms, Volcanoes and Science Doesn’t Know?

posted by Sarah N Worthy IATTWJ Member @ 15:14 PM
August 31, 2012

Scientists claim to be baffled about hundreds of earthquake swarms––and in some cases full quakes––pelting Southern California in the last few days, which certainly doesn’t give ease to citizens living with damages from the shakings.

According to Elizabeth Cochran, geophysicist for the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), more than 400 earthquakes or swarms greater than 1.0 in magnitude have hit Imperial County, California, this week.  The largest were 5.3 and 5.5 in magnitude.

The virulent tremors have caused the town of Brawley in Imperial County to declare a state of emergency after rattling swarms knocked some 20 mobile homes off their blocks, forced the National Beef slaughterhouse to close, damaged the local high school, and brought millions in losses to businesses from closures.

Brawley mayor, George Nava, said he took the unusual step to ask for emergency help from the county and state.  Hundreds of swarms lasting for days have brought millions of dollars worth of damage to his region.  Residents from unlivable mobile home, and others suffering without electrical power, air conditioning or running water are staying with the Red Cross.

While Jeanne Hardebeck, USGS research seismologist, insists that these continuing swarms are not a sign that more damaging quakes are imminent, other geologists are not so sure.

Scientists do know that these quake tremors come from water and other fluids moving around in the Earth’s crust.  And swarms are known to evoke volcanic eruptions.  Another USGS scientists, Julie Dutton, admits:  “In volcanically active areas, earthquake swarms often indicate imminent eruptions.”

But Eli MacKinnon from livescience.com concludes:  “The only potential candidates for volcanic eruptions near Brawley are the Salton Buttes, five small lava domes that flank the Salton Sea and haven’t erupted in close to 10,000 years.”     Cochran explains that to the south of the Salton Sea, the earth’s Pacific plate and North American plate pull away from each other creating the Gulf of California separating Baja California from Mexico.  And Imperial County is caught in the center of the split in what is called the Brawley Seismic Zone.

But what Cochran and other scientists won’t openly admit is that even volcanoes that haven’t erupted in eons can wake up again, just as the long-sleeping Little Sitkin volcano in Alaska’s Aleutian Islands was re-awakened just TODAY by a swarm of small earthquakes.  Sound familiar?

It is time for man and science to acknowledge that only Almighty God knows everything about how earth works, because He made it, as well as the people who live upon it.  A favorite Psalm in the best Bible verse cards is Psalm 24: 1, “The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.”  It is past time for mankind to look to Him for answers––i.e. as in the ‘science’ of prayer!

West Nile Virus Epidemic Increases By 40% and Going Up, Part 3

posted by Dr. Ad Versery Bored @ 20:34 PM
August 30, 2012

The United States is undergoing the worse epidemic of West Nile Virus ever imagined.  There has been a 40% increase in the number of cases in just this week.  As of  today, the disease has killed 66 Americans, and sickened another 1,590.

Because those with milder cases usually don’t report to doctors, some 30,000 Americans have probably contracted the virus.  Over 70% of known cases are in six states––Texas, South Dakota, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Michigan.

However, nearly half (45%) of all reported cases in the U.S. are in Texas, which now has 894 confirmed cases, with the disease killing 34 there.
Strangely, over half of those deaths were in the northern part of the state.

Moreover, health officials expect the statistics of infected cases to increase.  Dr. Lyle Petersen, Director of Vector-Borne Infectious in the Center for Disease Control and Prevention says:  “We have seen this trend in previous West Nile epidemics, so the increase is not unexpected. In fact, we think the reported numbers will get higher through October.”

Petersen further advises:  “The virus is endemic at this point throughout the United States.  There is a risk almost everywhere.”  Sharon Begley of Reuters writes that, according to Petersen, only 2 or 3 percent of West Nile virus cases are even reported to health officials, because 80 percent of victims show no symptoms.

Dr. David L. Lakey, Commissioner of the Texas Department of State Health Services, agrees:  “Since last week, there have been 197 new cases and 10 more deaths in Texas.  Those numbers will continue to go up.”

What’s even more serious, 56% of these known cases are neuro-invasive, which means the virus has entered the nervous system and can result in meningitis or encephalitis, which causes disorientation, muscle weakness, etc.

Various scientists speculate that a milder winter and hotter summer has greatly contributed to this explosion of  disease-carrying mosquitoes.  Dr. Tony Goldberg, professor of epidemiology at the University of Wisconsin, theorizes:  “Higher temperatures foster faster reproduction of both the mosquito and the virus.”  The same high temperatures also increase mosquito movements.

In “Why Is West Nile Virus So Bad This Year?,” Tia Ghose of LiveScience writers:  “A mild winter and a hot, dry summer are part of the reason West Nile virus is spreading like wildfire throughout the country.” Because few regions had hard frosts to kill these insects, they started breeding earlier in the spring.

Which brings us back to Global Warming.  As our earthend team asks so often: when will our leaders accept that we are killing the planet and ourselves with climate change.  As online Bible lessons make clear: “He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy (Proverbs 29: 1).”  This mosquito-borne disease is only one of many plagues to come, unless we attack Global Warming!

Abundant Nation? America’s Waste of Food, Land and Water

posted by Shopping4Bargains @ 18:31 PM
August 29, 2012

Every year reports come out about the amount of food Americans waste, and this year we are wasting more than ever.  Our waste amounts to billions of dollars annually, and is a waste of water and lands used to produce foods.

The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) report released this week,  titled, “Wasted:  How America Is Losing Up to 40 Percent of Its Food from Farm to Fork to Landfill,” starts with shameful statistics:

“Getting food from the farm to our fork eats up 10 percent of the total U.S. energy budget, uses 50 percent of U.S. land, and swallows 80 percent of all freshwater consumed in the United States. Yet, 40 percent of food in the United States today goes uneaten.

“This not only means that Americans are throwing out the equivalent of $165 billion each year, but also that the uneaten food ends up rotting in landfills as the single largest component of U.S. municipal solid waste where it accounts for almost 25 percent of U.S. methane emissions.”

This means that each one of the 311 million Americans waste 20 pounds of food every month!  For a family of four that translates to between $ 1,350 to $ 2,275 going down to garbage dumps, and it means that we throw away a quarter of the food and beverages we buy.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture says Americans throw out 40 percent of fresh fish, almost a third of the eggs purchased, and 20 percent of the milk we feed cows vegetation to produce.  And the Environmental Protection Agency estimates that our country discards 33 million tons of food each year.

Now analysts speculate that if food would cost more in this country, people would value it more, and would be less wasteful.  Other contributions to this throw-away food are:  1)  Portion sizes that are sometimes eight sizes larger than government food experts recommend; 2) Dinner plates over a third larger than 50 years ago; 3) Restaurants overstocking food; 4) Too much ready-to-eat food;

Planted fields that go unharvested; 6) Perfectly good food left to rot because deemed ‘unmarketable;’ 7) Discard of damaged or ‘outdated’ foods still edible; 8) Overly cautious health codes preventing restaurants and buffets from donating food to charitable organizations that could feed others, etc.

NRDC project scientists, Dana Gunders adds:  “As a country, we’re essentially tossing every other piece of food that crosses our path––that’s money and precious resources down the drain.

“With the price of food continuing to grow, and drought jeopardizing farmers nationwide, now is the time to embrace all the tremendous untapped opportunities to get more out of our food system.”

Wholesale Christian Bibles makes clear that waste is a curse, a symbol of lost wars, a sign of desolation:  i.e. “She is empty, and void, and waste: and the heart melteth, and the knees smite together, and much pain is in all loins, and the faces of them all gather blackness (Nahum 2: 10).  Such will be the fate of America if this woeful sin of wasted food does not stop!

USDA Reopens California Slaughter House, No Safe Food Mention

posted by Frank Butterman Food Inspector @ 20:17 PM
August 28, 2012

Without mention of meat from sick dormant cows possibly entering the food chain, the U.S. Department of Agriculture reopened the Central Valley Meat Company in Hanford, California, on promises that employees would be better trained––and major media gave its stamp of approval.

Rather than dealing with obviously sick animals seen in Compassion Over Killing’s videoed undercover operation, the whole incident was reduced to ‘animal cruelty,’ with USDA concluding that cows suffered ‘unacceptable treatment.’

Only an Associated Press article stresses that the plant’s reopening came about because “three Central California congressmen asked the federal government to reopen the slaughterhouse.  They cited the region’s high unemployment.”

Questions:  Why does the largest press association in the country allow these congressmen to go un-named?  And why does Reuters, the second largest press association stress the meat company’s line: “the closure of its facility caused economic hardship for the 450 people that work at the family-run plant,” so that unemployment rather than food safety becomes the major issue.

Los Angeles Times reporter David Zahniser summarizes new agency rules presented by Aaron Lavalee, USDA’s Food and Safety Inspection Service: “Only properly trained employes” can use electric prods on cattle, and that sparingly avoiding cows face or “sensitive parts;” and requiring employees to be retrained on  “humane treatment of animals” every month.

Zahniser’s is one of few media’s articles that even touches on sick animals:  “Barring the company from receiving “non-ambulatory” cows, or those that cannot stand or walk. If they become non-ambulatory on the way to the plant they must be humanely stunned or euthanized.”

But still nothing about why animals can’t walk or stand.  Without wording about what happens to the meat from these ‘non-ambulatory’ animals, it can only be assumed that this meat goes into America’s food chain.

Erica Meier, head of Compassion Over Killing, says:  “We shouldn’t forget that many of the so-called corrective measures are steps that slaughter plants should already be taking in order to ensure compliance with federal law.”

Apparently none of Central Valley’s contracts with In-N-Out Burger, McDonalds, the National School Lunch Program, Jack in the Box, Burger King and other fast food chains have renewed their contracts with the meat company.

This is all a major con job on the American people.  Instead of food safety and animal cruelty, the company’s public relations machine turned it into an issue of “450 employees returning to work after a one-week closure that put an even greater strain on a community suffering from double-digit unemployment.”

And everyone is happy!  End of story!  Major media should be ashamed of itself!  Thankfully, Bible prophecies promise that those who kill or sicken others with tainted meat––as well as those who aid and abet them––will receive eternal judgment: “For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil (Ecclesiastes 12: 14).”

First Kids Panel Rehearsal: Fish Kills in America

posted by Kids and Rev. Repriestly @ 14:25 PM
August 25, 2012

Rev. Repriestly:  OK kids let’s rehearse your panel presentations for Jael’s coming Three Day Conference on Global Warming, Climate Change and the End of Earth as we know it.  Remember, be sure to include your Bible understanding.

John J. Jr.:  Well Rev. we kids took a vote and decided to start our panel with reports on all the dead fish washing up on shores everywhere.  Aleene will report on this.  Then Sissy will bring us up to date with her research about spider attacks.  And Ernst will tell us about growing attacks from stray dogs.

Aleene:  Well our newsboy at The Extinction Protocol says that this month EP writes about hundreds of thousands of dead fish that washed up on Jamaica Beach and other beaches in Galveston, Texas.  Biologist say the small shad fish died from low oxygen levels, extreme summer heat, and calm static waters.

The sight of dead fish all over beaches and the stench of their rotting flesh turns beach goers away.  And the Texas State Health Department is looking into the possibility that harmful algal blooms, known as red tide, killed these creatures.

Our newsgirl at National Public Radio called in that news there is filled with stories about rivers with temperatures as high as 97 degrees, and drought dried rivers and shores which are killing tens of thousands of fish–– such as sturgeon, bass, catfish and carp––throughout the Midwest.

She sent us an email message about Aaron Woldt, Fisheries Program Supervisor for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Midwestern Region, telling Audie Cornish, the radio reporter, that fish kills can mean species disappear from waters.

John J. Jr.:  Wow Aleene, fish extinctions.  What does it all mean?

Aleene:  Well I think it means that God gave us fish for food and we are destroying our own food with man-made Global Warming.  We are destroying their oceans and other water homes with chemical pollution, trash, and melting glaciers.

If we don’t get on our knees and ask God to forgive us for what we’ve done to His Earth,  we will pay for it now and forever.  Bible prophecies in Ecclesiastes 9:12 warn:  “For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, . . . so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.”

John J. Jr.:  Aleene you have given our panel rehearsal such a good start.  Please keep working on this subject.  Rev. Repriestly what do you agree?

Rev. Repriestly:  Yes. John, I agree.  But I think it would be a good idea for Aleene to find out about fish kills in other nations as well.  And I can’t wait to hear from Sissy and Ernst.  Also Aleene’s report reminds me that Our LORD said He wants to make us fishers of men (Mark 1: 17).  So let’s keep working on our panel so that people find Him, and that they also hear the truth about Global Warming!

Unbelievable Slaughterhouse Cruelty Cancels Meat Contracts

posted by Frank Butterman Food Inspector @ 1:09 AM
August 24, 2012

Well it has happened again!  Yesterday, live videos taken at a California slaughterhouse on malicious treatment of animals––possibly putting diseased animals into this nation’s food chain––has led to prominent burger chain restaurants canceling contracts with––and the shutdown of––that plant.

An animal welfare group, Compassion Over Killing, presented such view-horror evidence of animal treatment at California’s Central Valley Meat Company that the USDA Food Safety Inspection Service shut the plant down.

Because of possibilities that Central Valley Meat Company is mistreating animals and could be shipping beef from sick animals, In-N-Out Burger fast food restaurant chain immediately broke its contractual ties with the slaughterhouse.  McDonald’s Corporation, Costco, and even USDA, which had a contract to buy meat from the company, also severed purchasing ties with the slaughterhouse.

Tracie Cone of the Associated Press claims:  “The video appears to show workers bungling the slaughter of cows struggling to walk and even stand. Under federal regulations, sick animals cannot be slaughtered for human consumption.

“The USDA said late Tuesday that it found evidence of inhumane practices on the video, but the footage did not indicate beef from sick cattle got into the food system. However, the investigation is continuing.”

An undercover investigator for Compassion Over Killing has video pictures cows lying in pens apparently paralyzed, unable to stand long enough to get out of trailers.  Other footage show female cows with enlarged udders that cannot stand up.  Another shows one cow trembling so hard she also cannot stand.

Compassion Over Killing’s investigator took the film during the time he worked for Central Valley Meat.  AP obtained tapes with many shots where Central Valley workers failed to render animals brain dead after injecting shots to their heads.  One such still-conscious cow is shown “flailing as a conveyor lifts it by one leg for transport to an area where the animals’ throats are slit for blood draining.”

Erica Meier, Executive Director of Compassion Over Killing, told Cone:  “The horror caught on camera is sickening.  It’s alarming that this is not only a USDA-inspected facility but a supplier to the USDA.”

Al Almanza, Administrator of the Food Safety and Inspection Service, told the Associated Press, “We have not substantiated a food safety violation at this time. We are aggressively continuing to investigate the allegations.”  That investigation should determine if meat from the company should be recalled.

A passage in used Christian Bibles reads:  “A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel (Proverbs 12:10).  In this instance, the cruelty is unmerciful animal treatment.  Further wickedness is putting potentially deadly meat from such sick cows on sale to the public.

Now 43 U.S. Deaths From West Nile Virus

posted by Dr. Ad Versery Bored @ 0:34 AM
August 23, 2012

As of today, August 22, 43 American citizens have died from West Nine Virus.  Cases in the this country have unexpectedly jumped to 1,221 cases of infection from this disease.  About one-half of the cases are in Texas, with most being in Dallas County where officials have been aerial spraying pesticides.

Thirty-eight states now report cases of the virus.  Most are in Texas, with other high numbers in Mississippi, Louisiana, South Dakota and Oklahoma.  Texas has seen 23 deaths and is treating some 640 victims.  Another nine states report the virus in birds and mosquitoes.  Only Alaska, Hawaii and Vermont have not reported cases.

Lyle Petersen, director of the CDC’s Division of Vector-borne Infectious Diseases, announced: “The number of West Nile cases in people has risen dramatically in the last few weeks and indicates that we are in one of the biggest West Nile virus outbreaks we have ever seen in this country.”

Elizabeth Weise of USA Today writes: “The 1,221 cases are the highest number of West Nile virus disease cases reported to the CDC through the third week in August since the virus was first detected in the United States in 1999.”

Reuters reporter, Marice Richter claims:  “Officials are bracing for more cases because West Nile peaks in mid-August and lasts through September. There is often a lag between the time of infection and the appearance of symptoms.”

Some 80% of people who catch West Nile virus show no symptoms at all.   Most of the remaining 20%  show relatively mild symptoms––maybe fever, headache or vomiting, which may last a few days or even a few weeks.

However Elizabeth Cohen, Senior Medical Correspondent for CNN News, explains:  “About one in 150 people infected with West Nile will develop a severe illness, which can include paralysis, coma or death.”  Other symptoms include severe headaches or confusion, which usually requires hospitalization.

Especially vulnerable are people over 50, young children and those with weak immune systems.  There are no medications or vaccines to treat this virus.

Ms. Cohen suggests that during daylight hours, one should use mosquito repellent with DEET, and dress in dark-colored long pants and long sleeves, and be especially careful at dusk and dawn when mosquitoes are most active.
And, as earthend-newbeginning.com wrote a few days ago, readers must be sure to drain any standing water around the house or yard.  Also, lakes and other standing water should be avoided.

School is starting soon.  Perhaps we should print these instructions on wholesale Christian kids t-shirts.  These mosquito attacks are plagues.  In addition to precautions and medical consultation, Christians must seek God for protection and healing:  “For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues (Mark 3: 10).”

West Nile Virus and Swine Flu Cases on the Rise, Part 2

posted by Shopping4Bargains @ 18:00 PM
August 20, 2012

The current Swine Flu category, (H3N2), has come roaring back since the middle of last month and has now infected some 200 people in the U.S.  Most of the virus is being spread at State Fairs where pigs are on display.

Helen Thompson of Nature Magazine explains that on August 3, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported only 16 cases of H3N2 infections across the country.  And by the middle of last week, some 145 patients had been diagnosed with that strain.

And Ms. Thompson writes that in all the new cases, “patients interacted with pigs either in their occupation or at local agricultural fairs.”  So far it does not seem that the disease passes from person to person.

The state of Indiana has 138 confirm cases in 23 counties.  A week ago it was only in three other states:  about 72 in Ohio and one case in Hawaii and Illinois each.  But now the virus pops up in West Virginia with three cases, two more in Illinois, one in Michigan, four in Pennsylvania and two in Wisconsin.

Because H3N2 seems to be a mild flu, no deaths have been reported so far, but several victims are hospitalized.  However, CDC and state health officials have not provided the numbers of those so sick that they need hospital care.

Dr. Gregory Larkin, Indiana Health Commissioner, reports: “Surprisingly, the greatest, overwhelming percentage (of cases) is in people 16 years and younger.  As our investigation continues, we’re seeing transmission from ill or infected swine, or hogs, to their handlers, which in most of these cases are kids.”

Also, Dr. Joseph Bresee, CDC epidemiologist, adds:  “This time of the year is the time when you have fairs around the country … thousands of them.  That accounts for the increased transmission more than anything else.”

Pig owners and state fairs are fighting to keep their displays going by scrubbing out pig sty displays with disinfection and re-bedding, when one set of hogs leave, and another group enters.  Only sows with nursing piglets remain in styes throughout the fair period.

Some states will have veterinarians on hand to check the health of new pigs coming on display.  Also, states claim pigs’ temperatures are checked during displays for flu indications, and that public hand-washing stations are available.

That the virus can be spread when pigs sneeze, when visitors either touch pigs, or carry food around pigs are problems.  A larger problem is when the most vulnerable––children, elderly, or immune deficient people––are around sick pigs.

Wholesale Christian Bibles put pigs in a very bad light.  Matthew, Mark and Luke speak of a man possessed with hundreds of demons.  Before He cast them out, those devils begged to go into pigs grazing nearby.  When Jesus said “Go,” the devils then possessed the pigs and drove them down a steep hill into the sea, thus associating pigs with devils, sickness and death.  Now that’s food for thought!

West Nile Virus and Swine Flu Cases on the Rise in U.S.

posted by Dr. Ad Versery Bored @ 16:37 PM
August 17, 2012

This summer’s extremely hot weather is giving new strength to two deadly viruses now traipsing across this country.  Swine Flu and West Nile Virus are transferring from the animal kingdom to people, killing scores of Americans.

Health officials in Dallas have declared a state of emergency as mosquitos have injected West Nile virus into hundreds there, killing at least 16, and making another 365 sick.  As a result, they are aerially spraying insecticides for the first time in 45 years. About 95% of mosquitoes there tested positive with the virus.

In Tarrant County, Fort Worth health officials report that some 171 people are infected with the virus, and it has killed two others.  L.A. Times reporter Molly Hennessy-Fiske writes that another 39 victims are reported in Louisiana and Mississippi with one death, while Oklahoma has 22 infections, but no deaths.

AP reporter Sarah Kuta says:  “The hot, dry weather . . . has created ideal conditions for some species of mosquito. The heat speeds up their life cycle, which accelerates the virus replication process. And during a drought, standing water can quickly turn stagnant when it’s not flushed away by rain or runoff.”

Mosquitoes catch this deadly virus by feeding on infected birds.  The disease is normally found in Africa, East Europe, Asia and the Middle East, but it is unclear how it landed in this country.  The Canadian Center for Occupational Health and Safety says that the virus can be found among some 150 bird species.

While this virus now concentrates in Texas, and a group of doctors, headed by Gregory D. Huhn from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, advise that since 1999 when the disease was recognized in New York City, “it has spread rapidly across the United States, with documented cases in 39 states” and D.C.

In 2003, there were 439 cases of West Nile virus in Texas, with 40 deaths.  Marc Fischer, CDC Medical Epidemiologist told Hennessy-Fiske:  “Each year we have seasonal outbreaks, and they tend to happen . . . because of ‘a combination of the right warm, wet weather, mosquitoes, birds . . . and human’ beings who must protect themselves from mosquito bites.’”

Dr. Huhn and his associates report the virus “can cause a broad range of clinical syndromes, including fever, meningitis, encephalitis, and a flaccid paralysis characteristic of a poliomyelitis-like syndrome. . . . one in 150 infections results in severe neuralgic illness.” More on the spread of Swine Flue tomorrow.

Christians who do not see how these circumstances mirror God’s judgment against Egypt in the book of Exodus should sign up for online Bible lessons :  “. . . I will send swarms of flies . . . upon thy people . . . : and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies . . . (Exodus 8: 21).” “He sent divers sorts of flies among them, which devoured them (Psalms 78: 45).”  Pray that our leaders address Global Warming immediately.  If not, we bring such judgment upon ourselves.

Animal Story Updates From Everywhere by The Newspaper Kids

posted by Newspaper Boys @ 13:20 PM
August 16, 2012

Okkkkk Again.  It’s me, John J. Jr., senior internet newspaper delivery person here in the U.S.  We promised the people we would update them on urgent animal stories from ‘round the world.   Ok Sissy you’re up first.

Sissy:  Well these new breeds of spiders have been showing up all over the place.  Police suspect tarantulas killed two people in India, but it may be other kinds of black spiders.  They killed them, and put scads more in the hospital.

Australia is use to what they call red-back spiders. Its related to that there awful black widow spider. And now theys invading Britain, along with the German Cockroach and Pharaoh Ant.  At least that’s what our boy in the U.K. said Antonella Lazzeri from thesun.co.uk told him.

Here in the U.S. one man found 40 of these here deadly brown recluse spiders in his apartment.  Our boy in L.A. says that Brown Widow Spiders is seen everywhere there.  And in Chicago, after three women died, health department inspectors found they had all used the toilet at a restaurant near the airport.

When them health cops lifted the lid in that bathroom, they found them extremely deadly South American Blush Spiders.  It turns out them spiders were flown here from South America.  They found them spiders’ nests on four airplanes.

John J. Jr.:  Ugh.  That enough o’ that girl.  You’re making me sick already! Farley, you got somethin’ otta Florida?  So shoot!

Farley:  Well if that’s making you sick, wait till you here this.  Those rotten big python snakes has just ‘bout taken over the Florida everglades, running all other animals there into––what’s that Jael word?  Yeah, extinction, that’s right.

Well just this week theys caught a 12 foot long female Burmese python.  Yep, and she weighed 164 pounds!  And get this: she had 87 snake eggs inside her! Our kid down there got the story from an AP reporter, Matt Sedensky.

Allie:  John J. we’s running outta time.  What about my millon stray dogs, and escaped chimps stories and oh yea, mountain lions sitting in public parks?

John J. Jr.:  I know Allie. Listen, we just got word that Jael is planning a three day conference on the End Times and Global Warming, and she wants us kids to head a panel.  What ‘bout we research our animal stories more and and add Bible background to them, like the insects taking over Egypt in the book of Exodus.

These killer animals do seem to be everywhere.  Rev. Repriestly sent me these Bible verse cards about animals and Global Warming in these last days:

“They shall be burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust (Deuteronomy 32: 24).”  And “ . . . Death, and Hell followed . . . And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with . . .with the beasts of the earth (Revelation 6: 8b).”
