John J., Jr.:  Rev. Repriestly, Rev. Repriestly open the door.  Emergency!

Rev. Repriestly: What on earth is it child? Settle down! Its noon prayer time!

John J., Jr.:  Taryn from the, them folks that help Jael place the blogs, she called and said that she can’t get Jael to do a Christmas blog.  She asks if the Newspaper Boys and Girls Int’l can do Christmas this year.

Sissy: Yea, and I told John we can do it.  We can celebrate Our Lord’s birthday.  Me and Allie and Farley we got songs and a play.  We’re ready now!

Rev. Repriestly:  Did she say why Jael won’t do it this year?  Let me call Jael.  Hello, Jael yes, yes, its me.  The kids are upset over a call from Miss Taryn.
I see, yes, yes,  I understand.  Is it ok then if we try to carry on?  Yes, we’ll do that.

Sissy:  We’d she say?  Is she coming?  Can we go on with our play then?

Rev. Repriestly:  Well, she’s praying about what happened at Sandy Hook, and for what officials gonna do, so we can do Christmas this year, as long as we include Bros. John, Jude and Michael and the prayer partners, and that we pray for that community and those on the East Coast still suffering from Hurricane Sandy.

John, Jr.: Ok we’ll go get them.  Come on Sissy, we’ll rehearse too!    Brother Jude:  O.k. kids.  Thanks for the invite.  Me, Ethel and the girls, Michael and John are coming soon.  Now do you kids know what the Bible says about the birth of The LORD Jesus?  Do you know His mother’s name, and the name of His earthly father?  Do you know what the wise men brought Him, and what He did when He was John, Jr., age to prove that He was a wise young men?

Allie:  Course we do Brother Jude.  Rev. Repriestly holds our Bible Study every week, and we have homework from our online Bible lessons.

John J. Jr.:  Besides all that, we have asked The LORD Jesus into our hearts, and we are living to obey His Word.  He’s not just in our heads, He’s in our hearts.

Brother Jude:  What do you think, Brother Michael?

Brother Michael: Let’s go over some Bible verses and then pray before they do the play and sing: “John 3: 14-17 – For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved.   For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.”

Brother John:  Dear God, we come to You in The Name of The LORD Jesus Christ.  We pray for the families in Sandy Hook who lost loved ones in this Satanic attack last week.  Please bless them to heal, and to keep their faith in You.  And, Father, please send help to our fellow citizens still suffering from the ravages of Hurricane Sandy.  Father, please bless our nation to return to You in sincerity and truth.  In The Holy Name of Our Savior, The LORD Jesus Christ.  Amen!
