Animal Story Reports: Poachers Killing Elephants and Rhinos

posted by Newspaper Boys @ 0:45 AM
January 17, 2013

John J. Jr.:  Dr. Jael, Rev. Repriestly and Sarah Newsworthy have asked everyone to think about reorganizing work loads and expanding staffs if needed. So they said we could start an Animal Story Updates by Newspaper Kids division.

Allie:  Well Sissy wants to tell about cows tails falling off, birds having funerals and people stealing land from bees, but I think we should do a special Newspaper Kids edition on elephant and rhino poaching in Africa.

Sissy:  This absolutely ain’t fair.  She can’t talk about what I want.  Besides, Andy and I want to be bosses of the animal division, and not Allie!

John J. Jr.:  Oh come on.  You start this again Sissy and the grown-ups will fire us quick.  Allie, you start the story on elephants, and Sissy, you and Andy work on our next edition.  And no more back-scrapping.  We ain’t enemies.  We work together for God.  Remember what our plus size Christian t-shirts say about that.

Allie:  Well, everyone knows poachers are killing elephants and rhinos to get their ivory tusks.  But late last year, the number of these animal murders greatly increased.  African game police and poachers even die in gun fights.

Farley:  And there is so much undercover dirty dealing in governments, no one seems to really protect the animals.  And now United Press International (UPI) says “heavily armed African rebels and militias . . . use profits from the illegal poaching and sale of ivory to fund wars across the continent.”

Allie:  Yes the UPI story says these groups killing God’s precious animals to extinction “include the Islamist al-Shabaab of Somalia; the Janjaweed tribal warriors of Sudan and the Lord’s Resistance Army of Uganda who have turned the savannah of central and southern Africa into what the German news magazine Der Spiegel calls “a Killing Fields for elephants.”

Sissy:  Why, this is awful.  They’re killing innocent animals to get money to go kill people.  John, we must do something!  What can we do?

Farley:  These ivory tusks are going to Asia, particularly to China and Thailand where two pounds of ivory can sell for $ 2,000 on illegal black markets.
Druggists and people in those countries think ground-up ivory can heal people, but our government’s health people say they can’t heal anything.

Allie:  And now they’re shooting these poor animals down from overhead in helicopters, sometimes wiping out entire family herds.  Police find 10 to 15 dead animals bunched together dead, with their tusks cut out.

Sissy:  Come on John.  Say something.  We have to act now against this!

John J. Jr.:  Well, one thing we can write our U.S. Senators and ask them what is being done among nations to stop it, you know if international police can work on this problem.  Also we can raise funds for the World Wildlife Fund.  The WWF is doing all it can to stop the ivory trade destroying these animals forever.

Sissy:  O.k.  Great.  That’s a start.  Let’s get to work!

Is Man Free to Slaughter God’s Works of Art?

posted by Jael Ever @ 9:00 AM
August 7, 2012

What if a sane person walked into a famous museum and deliberately slashed a Van Gogh, Picasso or other famous painting brutally with a sharp steel knife, making restoration impossible?  When caught, that person would be jailed for a very long time.  Right?

Moreover, artists, critics and art lovers around the world would be outraged, demanding that the culprit be given life imprisonment or even execution.  Such are systems of human laws, systems measuring treasures which societies agree have worth without measure, values that must be protected at all cost.

Therefore, can someone please explain why men feel free to kill God’s living works of art in nature without any reason other than the sport of it?  And why they expect to get away with it?  Do they really believe that driving His works of art into extinction are not crimes requiring punishment?

Take the beautiful nyala antelope, found mainly in the southern horn of Africa, in the mountains of South Africa and Ethiopia.  The male nyala stands some four feet high to his shoulders and have unbelievably beautiful horns twisting high up towards the heavens.  The females feature soft, dainty fawn-like qualities.

Numbering between eight and twelve thousand in the 1960s, nyala numbers are now down less than a thousand, and some researchers say down to only 150.  In addition to habitat loss, high-altitude farm cultivation, and harassment from dogs, the nyala antelope has primarily been prey to illegal hunting.

While nyala are supposedly fully protected by local and international conservation laws, enforcement of those laws is generally lacking.  Most western hunters simply kill them for sporting trophies, while native hunters kill them for meat, use their horns for local medicines and make nipples for milk bottles.  Of course, these hunters live in cities with grocery stores everywhere.  So no need!

At this rate in a few years, this exquisite example of God’s artistic design will be gone forever.   Sometimes feral dogs prey on these magnificent creatures.  The Bible speaks of two kinds of dogs.  One is the four-legged kind.  The other is the human kind.

Bible prophecy says that the human ones will not be allowed in heaven:  “For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie” (Revelation 22.15).

Hmm. Sounds like those who kill animals like the nyala for sport, game and play, who destroy God’s works of art for no viable reason, unless these hunters repent and call out for His mercy through Christ Jesus, they will incur much greater punishment than that which may come from slashing works of art by men.

Our Future Food: Explained and Unexplainable Fish Kills, Part 2

posted by Frank Butterman Food Inspector @ 1:12 AM
May 23, 2012

Just today thousands of dead fish came up floating on the banks of the Mula–Mutha (Bheema) river––again!  The reported cause is pollution:  “The fish apparently died because of thick blackish water flowing in the river bed.”
And, on yes, fishermen still took the dead fish to market and sold them!

These thousands of fish kills––probably millions in world-wide aggregate––pose serious health issues.  Even if fish are able to stay alive in polluted water, they still pose a danger to the people who eat them.  In this instance, Mozambique Tilapia fish are quite resilient, usually able to survive poor water environments.

Of related interest, scientists now know that fish grown in hatcheries and then thrown into natural waters are harmful to wild fish.  SPX News reports:  “A new collection of more than 20 studies by leading university scientists and government fishery researchers gives mounting evidence that salmon raised in man-made hatcheries harm wild salmon.

The studies indicate “that fast-growing hatchery fish compete with wild fish for food and habitat in the ocean as well as in the rivers where they return to spawn. The research also questions whether the ocean can supply enough food to support future increases in hatchery fish while sustaining wild salmon.”

Thus, these man-raised fish seem to eliminate fish in the natural wild.  Pete Rand, a biologist at the Wild Salmon Center, says “What we’re seeing here in example after example is growing scientific evidence that hatchery fish can actually edge out wild populations.”

Scientists invented hatcheries to supplement loses dams cost the Pacific salmon commercial fishing industry: “to offset losses of wild salmon that have suffered serious declines due to dams and habitat degradation.”  But they didn’t consider harm from dams, and they didn’t consider it for fish hatcheries either.

Moreover, salmon are not the only type of fish that man-made hatcheries threaten.  Naturalists are just beginning to understand that man-made manipulation of natural fish resources is doing nothing but destroying the same resources.

Thus, we are killing our own food––food for today and food for tomorrow––with water “blackened” by industrial waste dumped into fish habitats: with water made too warm from man-made Global Warming; with water our own misshaping of natural seasons drains of oxygen; and with whacky fish hatchery inventions.

Such food idiocy is suicide.  Hosea 4: 1-3 points out that arrogant sinfulness can result in the loss of all sea life:  “Hear the word of The LORD . . . there is no knowledge of God in the land.   . . . Therefore . . . every one shall languish . . . yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.”  Wholesale Christian books renders such a loss ultimate judgment from God.  We must save this urgently important food source.  In doing so, we may well save ourselves!

Our Future Food: Unexplained Fish Kills All Over The World

posted by Frank Butterman Food Inspector @ 16:23 PM
May 21, 2012

Shocking stories of hundreds of ‘fish kills’ with thousands of dead fish floating on ocean and lake surfaces are reported from various places around the globe.  These scenes of water carnage indicate that the world’s waters are sick.

Perhaps the greatest horror was in Troms, Norway, where some 20 tons of dead fish washed up on the local beach earlier this year.   A popular skiing area, Troms is warmer than other cities on its latitude, because of the warm Gulf Stream.  Officials theorize that warmer waters may have contributed to the fish kills.

Various reasons offered by animal and water specialists around the world are:  warm water, industrial air pollution, red tide, fire extinguishing planes, guilty fishermen dumping dead fish back into water, poisonous bacteria, deliberate poisoning of storm sewers or other tributary, and lack of oxygen in fish waters.

CRIEnglish.com, says some 50,000 fish were found dead recently in a pond near the industrial city of Shenzhen in southern China.  The large pond is the size of two basketball courts.  The owner “suspects that heavy rain may have led to . . . pond contamination from a nearby building site.” In the Izmir Tahtah District of Turkey people panic because so many dead fish have shown up on shore.

Twice in the last week massive fish deaths occurred along the Periyar River in India.  “Local residents, fishermen, . . . and green activists . . . blocked” officials from the Pollution Control Board who came to collect water samples because officials had too often neglected these huge fish deaths.

In the United States, scientists from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources also suspect that low oxygen and low water levels caused thousands of fish to wash up stretching two miles long the Pelican River.  Associated Press (AP) reports that the dead fish included:  “northern pike, small mouth bass, bluegills, yellow perch, black crappies and bullheads.”

AP also reports that microorganism columnari was found in the waters of Harris Brake Lake in Harris Brake, Arkansas, where 300 white bass floated belly up dead.  No other fish species were affected.  The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission theorizes that the bass were stressed while spawning in warmer waters, making them vulnerable to infection from the microorganism.

And in Strongsville, Ohio, the Department of Natural Resources may file a criminal investigation over the 28,000 minnows, darters and white sucker fish found dead along three miles of shore in the East Branch of the Rocky River.

Massive fish deaths in Bible prophecies are signs of pending judgment:  “And the fish that was in the river died; and the river stank, and there was blood throughout all the land. . . (Exodus 7: 21).”  Now, with the shallow trivialities of modern life, we are cursing ourselves by massively killing fish––our future food.

Newspaper Kids: Special Animal Edition #2: Bees, River Pigs & Birds

posted by Newspaper Boys @ 15:35 PM
May 1, 2012

HURRY!  HURRY! HURRY!  Get the latest news from us, the Newspaper Boys and Girls Association, Intl (NBGI).  While Doc Ad Versery consults with the Organic Consumers Association’s Dr. Michael Greger, who has been arguing for years that U.S. Food Laws are too lax, us kids will report on more animal news.

Chucky:  OK Andy, you were reporting on a bunch of stories last time.

Andy:  Well, let’s see.  That so much with a bunch of new stuff too.  They’ve found Africanized bees in lots of states: Texas, Georgia, Mississippi and Florida. Everyone thought they wouldn’t go too far north ‘cause of colder weather, but yikes, they made it up to East Tennessee, where they nearly killed a beekeeper.

It’s got agriculture officials stumped cause those bees were only 17 percent Africanized, which means they weren’t suppose to be so aggressive, but they were.  The only thing that saved the keeper is he jumped in his car and drove so fast that the killer bees couldn’t keep up.  Then they had to kill the whole hive of ‘em.

Beckie:  Ugh, that’s a horrible thought Andy, him driving away from bees.  Did you tell Ally I. Feermeno ‘bout China killing porpoises?

Andy:  Yeah.  She’s working on that.  I told her that dozens of these freshwater animals––called river pigs in China––have been found dead in rivers so polluted with trash, junk and toxic waste from factories and farms.

Shanghai’s AFP’s desk says:  “Wang Kexiong, a researcher at China’s Institute of Hydrobiology, said water pollution, shipping, sand dredging and illegal fishing were all possible contributing factors to the recent deaths.”

Officials say also that heat from Climate Change makes water levels so low, porpoises can’t find food.  So they just starve to death.  Six years ago China’s freshwater dolphins went extinct, now they expect porpoises to do the same!

Chucky:  They must do something to help those animals..  Remember those stories we did about stray cats killing thousands birds in this country?  Well it turns out people are killing them too––with communication tower cables of all things.

SPX News claims that cables in those towers kill 6 million birds a year, as the animals “migrate from the United States and Canada to Central and South America.”  The journal PLoS ONE counts 84,000 of 2,000 feet high towers in North America.  Less than 2 percent are 1.9 feet high enough to kill 71% of birds.

Beckie:  I tell you guys these adults are crazy.  Why didn’t they think of the birds when they were building the towers.  Our Bible verse cards tell us to cherish birds:  “If a bird’s nest chance to be before thee . . . whether they be young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young (Deuteronomy 22: 6).”  God holds us responsible for nature!

Newspaper Kids, Intl, All-Animal Special Edition: Bats and Dolphins

posted by Newspaper Boys @ 16:11 PM
April 24, 2012

HURRY!  HURRY! HURRY!  Get the latest news from us, the Newspaper Boys and Girls Association, Intl (NBGI).  We, the triumphant younger kids are reporting today.  We’ve finished our ‘punishment’ course ‘bout not complaining so, from here on out, we just gonna report the latest news about animals.

Chucky:  OK you guys.  I’m in charge. OK?  Beckie one, you go first.

Beckie:  Well sir, this is not a complaint, I don’t think, but:  these ‘stupid’ adult people are allowing all the bats in this part of the world to die with some strange new disease called White-nose Syndrome or WNS.  Almost seven million bats are dead and these chuck-heads––‘cuse me Chucky––done nothing to stop it.

Dr. DeeAnn Reeder from Bucknell University––yea you bet, a girl doc––told our reporters:  “This is like bringing small pox to the New World. It is surely an unprecedented wildlife disaster for North America.  We can’t stop this thing. It’s marching across the country and we’re going to see some extinction.”

Why’d I call ‘em stupid?  Cause we needed those bats to eat all the insects gonna be attacking us this summer!! That’s why!!  The smarties say that one million dead bats means that 692 tons of insects––like mosquitoes, locusts, gnats, ants, etc.––will live.  So whadda ya think that seven million dead bats means?

Chucky:  Wow!  Beckie.  This means bugs could eat us up this summer.  Awful.  I’m stocking up on bug sprays now!  Andy, what you got?

Andy:  Well, let’s see, killer bees have made it to Tennessee where they’s attacking farmers, ‘en almost 900 dolphins have washed up dead in Peru.  China is killing porpoises to extinction.  En, oh yeah, and stray dog packs have started attacking people in Bulgaria.  Wadda ya want first?

Chucky:  My goodness.  It all sounds awful.  Start with the dolphins I guess.

Andy:  Well, globalanimal.org cries out that dolphins are dying around the world, lately in Cape Cod, The Gulf of Mexico  and Brazil and now in Peru.  But, accept for Peru, some of the others were able to swim away.  Our kid reporters down in Peru told Marilia Brocchetto of CNN that they heard these great fish mammals are dying from Morbillivirus or Brucella bacteria.

She quotes Peruvian Deputy Environment Minister Gabriel Quijandria who says:  “Right now, the most probable hypothesis is that it’s a virus outbreak.”  They think that the animals’ bodies were “in an advanced state of decomposition” before they washed on shore.  Ugh!  They were dying while living.  And like Beckie says, them adults don’t seem to care enough to do something about it.

Chucky:  Double wow! We’ll have to get your other reports tomorrow.  Remember to do our assignments on patience and submission, and study our Bible verse cards.  And let’s pray that adults will get some smarts and save these animals:  “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much (James 5: 16b).”

Scientists: All Florida Wildlife Threatened: Snakes Killing Everything!

posted by Jael Ever @ 18:29 PM
April 23, 2012

In the short twelve years since state rangers first noticed them, Burmese pythons have eradicated all other animal life in the Florida everglades.  These deadly beasts will move into the human populations unless Florida makes a frontal assault to wipe them out!  Killing them individually is simply not working.

This blog cite has warned about these snakes in Florida for years.  Even then they were found in house kitchens, in swimming pools, and on country roads.  But Florida officials merely issued orders for game wardens to hunt and kill them.  First, no one knows just how many snakes inhabit these swamps.  Second, these snakes multiply at inordinate rates.  Third, they have destroyed Florida wildlife.

Thus, the state must mobilize an army against them.  In fact, because these pythons are moving both west into Texas and north into Georgia and the Carolinas, it may be necessary for the national government to organize such resistance.

The Associate Press reports:  “A large number of deadly Burmese pythons have invaded the Florida Everglades and wrecked havoc on the region’s raccoons, opossums, bobcats and other mammals.”  Scientists say that the number of declining mammal populations are “profound.”

“A study, published Monday in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, found that sightings of medium-size mammals are down dramatically — as much as 99 percent, in some cases— in areas where pythons and other large, non-native constrictor snakes are known to be lurking.”

Researchers for the National Park Service found “a drop of 99.3 percent among raccoons, 98.9 percent for opossums, 94.1 percent for white-tailed deer and 87.5 percent for bobcats.”

This snake is indicative of those who would compromise with the devil, who assume that enjoying him for a quick dance is harmless.  But like the python, the devil attacks and kills everything in his path not strong enough to resist his skills.

In the Bible, the snake, called the serpent, is the most consistent symbol for evil.  The first Book of Genesis shows Adam and Eve falling for the devil’s snake seduction:  “And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life (3: 14).”

In the Book of Revelation, the snake is identified as Satan:  “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: . . . And He laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years (12: 9, 20: 2).”  At some point, people can be wholly consumed by the Snake’s spirit, and often the animals stay near that spirit.  Both must be resisted, and the physical animal must be destroyed!

Mysterious New Lamb Disease in Europe From Africa? Part 2

posted by Maleekie Ambularie @ 17:08 PM
April 3, 2012

Dr. Ad Versery:  Because the new virus carries its name, the small German town of Schmallenberg, Germany, is particularly worried about the way the disease will hurt its heretofore prosperous economy––one based on farming and tourism.

The town’s mayor, Bernard Halbe, lamented to Nick Meo of the telegraph.co.uk, “Plenty of us aren’t very happy that our town’s name is being used across Europe to describe this new disease.”

Before this outbreak, the town was one of the envies of the continent.  “the unemployment rate, at three per cent, is one of the lowest in Europe – depends on agriculture and tourism, both of which rely on public confidence.”

Meo describes Schmallenberg as:  “a picturesque district of 26,000 people in central Germany, a deadly new virus was born.”  Before the disease outbreak, the town’s tourism department had worked hard to put forth an image “showing happy families hiking and picnicking. . . . a healthy place for holidays close to nature.”

For the last two years, its local government had helped farmers’ wives to earn money hosting “city families . . . to enjoy life on a real working farm.”  But “becoming ground zero in an international disease outbreak has put all of this in doubt.”  Now, Halbe says, “Some farms have been devastated.”

With the disease spreading to England, Belgium, Holland, etc., the concern now is that people will stop buying beef and lamb.  This could bring significant damage both to the Euro market and to farmers’ incomes.  It is estimated that it will take a year or more to find a vaccine for this new virus, experts say.

Maleekie Ambularie:  So what do they see as the answer?  Blame it all on Africa!  Why does this all sound so familiar?  German farmers speculate that this disease of deformed lambs “may be from Africa because it resembles a similar disease called Blue Tongue that arrived a few years ago.”

But The Center for Food Security & Public Health at Iowa State University says:  “The bluetongue virus has been found in many parts of the world including Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, the South Pacific, North and South America, and parts of Asia. The virus is present in some regions without associated clinical disease. In the United States, the distribution of the vector limits infections to the southern and western states.”

And the symptoms of Blue Tongue and Schmallenberg are no where near alike.  Blue tongue is like a false Foot-and-Mouth Disease.  It may bring sore muzzles, erosions, ulcerations, lameness and inflammation, but not defective births.  Schmallenberg farmers should get their facts straight!

Dr. Ad Versery:  Science must stop this virus before it spreads to the human population.  Remember what Christian prayer books teach: God is The One “Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases (Psalms 103: 3).”

Mysterious New Lamb Disease in Britain and Europe

posted by Maleekie Ambularie @ 23:16 PM
April 2, 2012

Dr. Ad Versery:  I’ve been looking over the kids All Animal News Blog, and I think they have something about those mysterious lamb births in England and Europe.  Called the Schmallenberg Virus, it is moving swiftly across farms there.

Alastair Mackintosh of the National Farmers Union tells Cole Moreton of .telegraph.co.uk that this spreading virus ‘a ticking time bomb:’  “We don’t yet know the extent of the disease. We only find out the damage when sheep and cows give birth, and by then it’s too late.”

In Europe, farms have have lost half their lambs, while so far the loss in Britain has only been 20%.  A big problem is that ewes show no symptoms of the disease until the infected lamb is born.

Animal experts believe that the virus is spread by midges, insects that may have carried the virus across the Channel or North Sea last autumn.  But the actual source is unknown.  Officials are concerned that the virus will spread as the weather warms.

Presently there is no vaccine for this virus.  The disease gets its name from the German town, 70 miles east of Cologne, where it was first discovered.  It is not known if the virus can pass from animal to animal or from animal to humans.

Officials are already concerned about the effects this lamb disaster will have on national economies.  According to Moreton:  “Approximately 16 million lambs are born in Britain every year and sell at market for about £100 each. The effect of the disease on farms that are already struggling in the downturn could be severe.”

Mackintosh says that at the point that useless lamb births in England reach 50%, farmers will go out of business.   Moreover, this virus has spread to cows, goats and other farm animals, which could reduce and/or endanger milk yield.

Richard Gray, Science Correspondent for The Telegraph, says the virus causes animals “to abort late in their pregnancies, or has resulted in stillbirths.  While sheep show no symptoms, adult cows suffer fevers and diarrhea.

A bigger question is of course, how will ingesting meat from these diseased lambs affect people.  The Animal Health and veterinary Laboratories Agencies issued a statement about potential dangers to people:  “There is unlikely to be a risk to human health from Schmallenberg virus; but this is not yet certain.” But Gray insists that “virologists are conducting work to find out if it may cause any health problems in humans.”

Maleekie Ambularie:  Well we must remember to pray over the food we eat constantly.  Many verses in wholesale Christian Bibles admonish us to pray thusly:“Give us this day our daily bread (Matthew 6: 11).” Ephesians 5: 20 says “Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”  And the blood of Jesus is also our protection (Revelation 12: 11)!

Newspaper Boys & Girls, Intl: All-Animal News Special

posted by Newspaper Boys @ 13:55 PM
March 30, 2012

Ooookay, we ‘younger-than-teen’ newspaper delivery kids said we would go on strike.  No news door to door,  if Ms. Doc Jael don’t let us say somethin’ ‘bout the animals.  Cause if we don’t work, the public don’t get the news.  So she gave in, but now we must do a week of what they call ‘patience submission training.’ Oeyvey!  What we kids must do for the animals, cause you adults sure don’t.

Janet:  Yes, how come it took all these years for you smart grown people to figure out that ‘clothianidin’ pesticide spray is killing the bees?  Environmental News Service (ENS) says that last week “more than a million citizens signed an emergency legal petition” with the EPA to please stop spray killing our bees.

This stuff has been killing bees since 2003.  And Jael’s been writing for years about it.  Don’t you know that without bees, we won’t have food?  Are ya’ll grown ups idiots or what?  Well, need I ask that?

David:  Did ya’ll know that these big grocery stores sell whale meat?  Janet is right! Some o’ this stuff, the gang’s here been writing ‘bout for years.  Why encourage those bullies with big gun boats to kill whales by selling whale meat?  This news outlet’s been yellin’ about whale murder forrreeverrr!

So recently ENS says “tens of thousands of people took action via Twitter, Facebook and HSI’s petition” to tell Jeff Bezos, head of Amazon.com to stop selling whale meat.  So he took “145 food products” with whale meat off the site!  Way to go people! Way to go!

Janet:  En David, did you hear that law makers in New York are trying to stop the sell of shark fins there?  Bout time.  And it should spread across the nation.

Howie:  Well this one’s a Zowie.  Those huge windmills they’re building for a new kind of energy may be killing eagles and bats.  UPI and good.is say that windmills and the birds depend on the same air currents.  Its a big problem for these animals cause the wind power people want the right to “harm” the birds.

Annie:  Our newspaper boys and girls in Britain tweeted that thousands of lambs are dying in England and Europe and scientists don’t know why.  Baby lambs are either born dead or come with such crocked bodies that they cannot live.

David:  We’s got to follow up on that one Annie. It’s like in Tennessee horses and cattle are dying mysteriously and the docs can’t figure out why.

Older Teen:  That’s enough ‘bout animals you guys.  Ya’ll complained your way into havin’ your say.  But you got to get to Dr. Repriestly’s ‘patience and submission’ class NOW.  We all got to learn to submit to God’s order of authority.

Your wholesale Christian kids t-shirts from Colossians 1: 11 say believers are strengthened by “patience and longsuffering with joyfulness.”  All you guys do is complain about the animals.  And complaining all the time ain’t being joyful.
