Most of the staff here show little interest in writing again and again, “We told you so.” The group drew straws and I picked the short end. Deniers keep relying on their old lies that Global Warming is not real. In times like these, they then decry that winter snow storms have nothing to do with warming temperatures.
But now, even weather experts easily connect the ‘Thunderous Two Feet High Winter Blizzard’ coming this evening to the Northeast with Global Warming.
In ‘2 feet of Global Warming coming to the Northeast,’ boston.craigslist.org says:
“Winter Storm Juno Preparations Underway; Officials Warn Residents of Blizzard That Could Cripple Major Cities.” According to weather.com meteorologist Chris Dolce:
“This is a major, potentially historic snowstorm for the Northeast and easily the biggest of the 2014-15 winter season so far. Expect extreme impacts from eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey through New England, peaking Monday night through Tuesday.” Others even predict power outages.
In ‘Global Warming and Oddball Winter Weather,’ National Wildlife Federation, advocating for assistance to the non-human animal kingdom, insists: “Global warming is bringing a clear trend toward heavier precipitation events.
“Many areas are seeing bigger and more intense snowstorms, especially in the upper Midwest and Northeast. Global warming is shifting storm tracks northward. Areas from the Dakotas eastward to northern Michigan have seen a trend toward more heavy snowfall season.”
Some climatologists have long predicted that while Global Warming may send the Northeast fewer snow storms, storms that do come will be more ferocious. AP’s Seth Borenstein claims: “Ten climate scientists say the idea of less snow and more blizzards makes sense: A warmer world is likely to decrease the overall amount of snow falling each year and shrink snow season. But when it is cold enough for a snowstorm to hit, the slightly warmer air is often carrying more moisture, producing potentially historic blizzards.”
Princeton University climate scientist Michael Oppenheimer adds: “And when those big storms finally hit, there is more than just added moisture in the air, there’s extra moisture coming from the warm ocean. And the air is full of energy and unstable, allowing storms to lift yet more moisture up to colder levels. That generates more intense rates of snowfall.”
Moreover, some scientists fear that extremely high winds accompanying this week’s spectacular blizzard will also include hurricane-type winds resulting in five to seven foot high snow drifts. So dismiss those deniers and start advocating that governments get even more serious about fighting Global Warming.
So put on one of those plus size christian sweatshirts; open your Bible to: “And The LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defense. And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain (Isaiah 4: 5 – 6);” and pray The LORD Jesus returns soon!
Rev. Repriestly – Blessed be the God and Father of Our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ Who has blessed us with spiritual blessings on earth and in heaven, Who makes our nation the head and not the tail (Deuteronomy 28),
Who feeds us with blessings from above and beneath so that our mouths are satisfied with good things, Who heals us upon our requests and repentance, Who forgives all our sins and iniquities (Psalms 103) because He loves us so much!
John J., Jr.: As you thank God and family this season, remember to pray for our soldiers in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Eastern Europe trying to hold the line against ISIS and Russia hoping to prevent World War III.
Maleeke & Doc: Please pray for nations in West Africa struggling to overcome Ebola. Also remember to wash those hands repeatedly, and to protect yourself from others who rudely sneeze and cough around you.
Cecil Certifier: And for goodness sake stay out of the cold and off those icy, snowy roads as much as possible. Remember flooding is possible in the Northeast, and states in upper Mid-West expect more snow, and stinging winds and rains.
Butterman: Please cook responsibly: Wash all fresh veggies thoroughly. Make sure all meat is cooked well done. Doc will tell you too much potatoes, bread, fat and gravy are not good for you. Love The Lord, Love your family, Love yourself by taking care of your body. Remember you only have one.
Sarah Newsworthy: Listen, weather prophets tell us that, because of Global Warming, what we know as normal rain, snow and ice during Fall months will be no more. So get yourself, the kids, house and car ready for winter early.
Newspaper Boys and Girls: Happy Thanksgiving Holiday to our readers in the U.S. Most of the news we send to Jael from overseas is usually not such good news. But we keep working in faith because for us this is a labor of love (Hebrews 6: 10). We continue to pray for the nations, and to look for Our Lord’s soon return.
Rev. Repriestly: And be sure to stay warm in our plus-sized Christian sweatshirts, which often say: “O give thanks unto The LORD ; for He is good; for His mercy endureth forever (1 Chronicles 16: 34).”
Listen: This is not weather to be out in. Ask people in the Buffalo, N.Y. According to the Associated Press (AP): “Four people died during a storm that dumped more than 4 feet of snow around Buffalo and forced motorists in 150 vehicles, including a women’s basketball team, to ride it out on a day when temperatures dropped to freezing or below in all 50 states.
“One person was killed in an automobile accident and three others had heart attacks, including two believed to be shoveling snow at the time . . . The snowstorm stranded cars, trucks and buses on a four-mile section near Buffalo. . . . the paralyzing ordeal that lasted nearly 24 hours for some motorists.”
Got that? A warning to all 50 states of these United States! AP adds: “In New Hampshire and elsewhere, icy roads led to accidents. Lake-effect storms in Michigan produced gale-force winds and as much as 18 inches of snow, and canceled several flights at the Grand Rapids airport.
“Schools closed in the North Carolina mountains amid blustery winds and ice-coated roads. In Indiana, three firefighters were hurt when a semitrailer hit a fire truck on a snowy highway. The National Weather Service warned that the snow, generated by cold air blowing over the warmer Great Lakes, would continue through Wednesday and could eventually total 6 feet in places.”
So know about wikiHow’s wisdom: “Don’t get stranded in the first place. If you don’t have an important reason for driving in the snow, stay home and wait for the roads to be cleared. Avoid traveling during a snowstorm or blizzard for anything but medical emergencies, or you run the risk of getting stranded.”
That site’s wisdom for winter ‘car-carries’ is also the longest yet: “Blankets; Pillow; Warm clothing, to be used if you need to change; Non-perishable food (e.g. nuts, canned tuna, crackers, dry cereal, fruit cups); . . .
“. . . A flashlight and extra batteries; Matches; Prescription medications; A fully-charged phone; Snow shovel; Ice scraper; Jumper cables; Extra gas; Add anything else vital that you may find useful if trapped in your car.”
Above all, they insist: Stay in your car! jalopnik.com adds: “Abandon your car as a last resort. This is your only means of shelter unless a hotel or public building is nearby, or if you aren’t properly clothed to walk somewhere for shelter.”
jalopnik.com has other vital info, i.e.: “If you’re in snow and ice and you’re running your engine, check that your tailpipe hasn’t gotten blocked. If it is, clear the snow and ice out. Otherwise, carbon monoxide can leak back into the car and kill you. It’s a very simple check with very grave consequences.”
More advice to come for dealing with this ‘plus size Christian sweatshirts’ ‘Winter in Fall’ weather, but it is most vital for believers to obey God’s Word in these times: “Trust in The LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear The LORD, and depart from evil (Proverbs 3:5-7).”
Weather prognosticators seem to agree: Winter 2014-15 for most of the country will be colder and more snowy than normal. Some even predict the snowy season will start as early as mid-October. So time to prepare!
Andrew of the Weather Center, who reports to this blog daily, predicts: “The potential for a wintry storm in the October 10-15 period is being monitored, as well as its impacts on the new Lezak Recurring Cycle”––i.e. continuing for weeks, etc.
In one graphic he sees: “ . . . a storm system pushing north through the Midwest . . . dropping impressive rains over Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and parts of Michigan. However, the 850mb temps appear to be near to just below freezing over central Michigan, where we see a rather sharp cutoff in the precipitation shield.
“The 850mb level, located about 5,000 feet off the ground, being below freezing can indicate snow . . . The temperature profiles for the atmosphere in general . . . where snow appears the most “likely” to occur . . . the backside of this storm could drag down some cold air, which might allow for some flakes to fly in parts of the North/Central US.”
In ‘Chicago Winter Forecast Could Be Wild In 2014-15’, John Dodge warns: “Meteorologists don’t take much stock in predictions from the Old Farmer’s Almanac, which is calling for a frigid winter season, but there are more scientific signs that Chicago would see a wild one in 2014-15.
“The 2013-14 winter went down as one of the worst in Chicago’s history, both in terms of the amount of snow and wicked cold.” Like most T.V. broadcasters, he doesn’t admit global warming contributes to such weather, but cites warmer temperatures from El Nino, which is, in effect, the same thing.
Moreover, Dodge reminds his audience of last winter’s term ‘Polar Vortex.’
As he says, ‘professional weathermen’ don’t ‘believe’ in Farmer’s Almanac. But that tried and true old reliable book says the same thing in its 2015 edition: “ . . . the winter of 2014–15 will see below-normal temperatures for about three-quarters of the nation. A large zone of very cold temperatures will be found from east of the Continental Divide east to the Appalachians.
“The most frigid temperatures will be found from the Northern Plains into the Great Lakes. The coldest outbreak of the season will come during the final week of January into the beginning of February, when frigid arctic air drops temperatures across the Northern Plains to perhaps 40 below zero. As the frigid air blows across the Great Lakes, snow showers and squalls will drop heavy amounts of snow to the lee of the Lakes.
“No region will see prolonged spells of above-normal temperatures . . .
Over the eastern third of the country, we are expecting an active storm track with a number of storms delivering copious amounts of snow and rain. . . . The Central and Southern Plains are expected to receive above-average precipitation.”
So remember the drills for house, car and clothing, as well as what Apostle Paul begs: “Do thy diligence to come before winter . . . (2 Timothy 4: 21),” i.e. prepare each soul for salvation through The LORD Jesus Christ as well.
Of course, strong Christians, like David’s warriors, can win great battles this winter: “ . . . he went down also and slew a lion in the midst of a pit in time of snow (2 Samuel 23: 20).” Now that’s a verse for plus-sized Christian sweatshirts!
National and international media write more about Scotland deciding to leave Great Britain, how to punish that NFL player who knocked his wife unconscious, the ISIS war in Middle East oil region, or the deaths of two famous comedians––than they do about the tens of thousands of Ebola victims in Africa.
Even as the U.S. prepares to send troops who will lend logistical support to medical teams on that continent, and multi-billion dollar corporations ‘struggle’ to find a vaccine cure for Ebola, the dire need for medical workers grows constantly.
An aid worker for Medecins Sans Frontieres laments: “It is extremely sad to see the indifference of the international community with regards to this epidemic. It is great to see an added interest and investment in research for vaccines, but we urgently need experts who are physically present and more structures on the ground here in West Africa, where the situation continues to be catastrophic.”
Already some 2,630 people are known to have died from Ebola in West Africa. Experts estimate that if Ebola is not stopped, it will kill 5 million people world-wide. The most effective cure so far is for patients to receive blood transfusions from someone who was cured of the disease. Unfortunately, that news has criminals selling what claims to be such blood on the Black Market.
According to the Editorial Board of ‘USA Today,’ America plans to send 3,000 troops the region to assist medical efforts. Costs will range up to $ 1.26 billion. “The plan . . . calls for more doctors and health care professionals; . . .
. . . more portable hospitals, laboratories, and other medical facilities; and increased training for first responders and other medical officials throughout West Africa. The troops . . . will not be providing ‘direct patient care,’ but instead provide logistical and engineering support to health care professionals. The military will also begin courses to train as many as 500 new health care workers.
Brenda Goodman of WebMD Health News adds: “The military also plans to send engineers to build another 17 units to treat people with Ebola. Each unit will have 100 beds, greatly increasing the space that is available to isolate patients in the region. . . personnel from the U.S. Public Health Service will deploy to the new hospitals that are being set up. To support families caring for loved ones with Ebola, health workers will distribute 400,000 infection-control kits [containing] disinfectants and medications to help ease symptoms.
The Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy now claims that because Ebola may pass through the air, health workers need more than face-masks: “We believe there is scientific and epidemiologic evidence that Ebola virus has the potential to be transmitted via infectious aerosol particles both near and at a distance from infected patients, which means that healthcare workers should be wearing respirators, not face-masks.” Again, expensive equipment needed there.
While the U.S. government takes such action, even more onus is on the Body of Christ in this country. This site continuously begs readers to pray for authentic end-time revival, including special callings for ministers of healing. Only the power of God’s Holy Spirit working through servants of The LORD Jesus Christ can truly stem this plague, and others coming to flood the globe with death.
Plus size Christian sweatshirts constantly boast:“And in that same hour He cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind He gave sight (Luke 7: 21).” It will be a sad day if Ebola has to come to the U.S. before Christians begin praying for healing revival! That may be too late!
It is as if the protective training wheels have fallen off the wagons of U.S. government labs assigned to keep this nation safe from infectious diseases. Several mishaps have exposed lab workers and the public to serious illnesses.
Last week, officials from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) claim: “a CDC lab accidentally contaminated a relatively benign flu sample with a dangerous H5N1 bird flu strain that has killed 386 people since 2003. Fortunately, a United States Agriculture Department laboratory realized that the strain was more dangerous than expected and alerted the C.D.C.”
Dr. Thomas Frieden, CDC Agency Director, was visibly upset by these multiple accidents: First, because the CDC is known as “the reference laboratory to the world;” and Second, because each of these accidents could have “have killed both staff members and people outside.”
Donald G. McNeil of The New York Times explains: “The anthrax episode took place on June 5 in the agency’s bioterrorism rapid response lab as part of testing a new mass spectrometry method.
“. . . . at least 62 C.D.C. employees may have been exposed to live anthrax bacteria after potentially infectious samples were sent to laboratories unequipped to handle them.” Affected employees were offered shots and antibiotics.
The Extinction Protocol adds: “The CDC, which is already under fire for safety mishaps involving live anthrax, said samples of the highly infections H5H1 virus that were sent last March to the Department of Agriculture for research.”
But Frieden is livid because he didn’t learn about that incident until last week. “I’m upset, I’m angry, I’ve lost sleep over it . . .” He has ordered an immediate moratorium on transferring any biological samples between high-level labs until officials have reviewed all their safety protocols.
Dr. Frieden demands that all anthrax and flu labs remain closed until new procedures are imposed. Ferdous Al-Faruque of thehill.com writes that Frieden ordered “appropriate actions” against any worker who knowingly violated safety rules and failed to report breaches. Frieden also created a new position, Director of Laboratory Safety, to be filed by CDC official, Michael Bell.
But that’s not all: “A 1975 image of smallpox. Two of six vials of smallpox stored at the National Institutes of Health since 1954 contained live virus capable of infecting people . . .” Frieden insists: “All the samples will be destroyed as soon as the genomes of the virus in them can be sequenced. The N.I.H. will scour its freezers and storerooms for other dangerous material.”
In his article Henry Fountain reveals: “Until now, the only known samples of the virus were at high-security CDC labs in Atlanta and in Russia.” He quotes Dr. William Schaffner, infectious disease specialist at Vanderbilt: “. . . when smallpox was eradicated, every single research lab in the world was asked to scour their facilities and submit all specimens for accounting and destruction. The fact that these vials were found in a storeroom, seems curious beyond belief.”
Some journalist imply these ‘mistakes’ could be intentional, or from serious underfunding. Both the House and Senate will hold hearings. One thing is for sure, Christians must pray about this. As plus size Christian sweatshirts exclaim: “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much (James 5: 16).”
But no matter how they ‘wax poetic’ about the coming cold, the message is the same. Summer will look like early winter in most parts of the country, even as far south as Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma. Generally, meteorologists all agree that for most of the nation temperatures will be 20 degrees below normal.
Jason Samenow of The Washington Post yells: “Call it the ghost of the polar vortex, the polar vortex sequel, or the polar vortex’s revenge . . . But make no mistake, in parts of the Great Lakes and Upper Midwest getting dealt the chilliest air, hoodies and jeans will be required. Highs in this region could well get stuck in the 50s and 60s – especially where there is considerable cloud cover.”
Yahoo News’ Dylan Stableford pines: “Remember the polar vortex? That weather pattern that sent temperatures plummeting across much of North America last winter, causing the Niagara Falls to partly freeze? Well, it’s back — sort of.
“Forecasters say polar air from the Arctic Ocean is expected to arrive in Canada and the United States next week, bringing unseasonably cool temperatures to the eastern half of the country.” And this unseasonably cold weather could last from six to ten days (i.e. or longer). Hm, remind anyone of last winter?
The Extension Protocol makes it sound even worst: “ Instead of warm summer-like conditions it will feel more like fall. Temperatures are likely to be 5-10°C below normal. This will keep daytime highs buried in the teens with overnight lows in the single digits.
“This cold air is expected to move as far south as Texas where record low temperatures could be broken. When you average the temperatures we have seen for the first 9 days of July we are already 3°C below normal. Adding on this upcoming cold outbreak will likely cause the entire month to end up below average. This would mean that six of the first seven months of 2014 have brought below normal temperatures . . . only June was near normal.”
But the National Weather Center also predicts it will be hotter than normal for six to ten days in the West––i.e. Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Idaho and California. Oh my, for bathing suit weather, maybe everyone should go there!
Yet, abc7chicago.com brings some consolation: “Residents won’t need boots or shovels, but a sweater may come in handy in the evenings. The July version of the ‘polar vortex’ that brought a deep freeze over Chicago for much of the winter wouldn’t involve snow.”
OK so no snow, but surely plus size Christian sweatshirts may be needed. Of course, the Book of Job predicted this: “Out of the south cometh the whirlwind: and cold out of the north (37: 9).” Hm again. Whirlwind sounds like hurricane. Is that what’s coming next? Maybe Jeremiah said it best: “The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved (8: 20).”
This volunteer systems of parents deciding whether or not their child will be vaccinated against whooping cough and other communicable diseases, and of each state deciding their own requirements for vaccinations––simply isn’t working.
Mid-way in the last century, parents were required to have certificates of vaccinations and booster shots, before a child could be enrolled in school. But through various usually-unfounded rumors about these preventive medicines, parents are now allowed to opt out of protecting their child with such shields.
And they thus endanger the lives of all children, and adults for that matter, within the child’s environments. With such lax enforcement of basic safety measures, the medical community, as well as the government of California is now faced with an explosive outbreak of whooping cough.
Ryan Parrish of vaccinenewsdaily.com, writes that as of July 2nd, California had amassed 1,100 new cases of whooping cough in just two weeks. The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) says that thus the total number of cases so far this year is at 4, 558. All the cases in 2013 only totaled 2,532.
Of that new total already three infants have died of pertussis (whooping cough). “Infants are at the greatest risk of illness and death from pertussis,” Ron Chapman, CDPH Director claims. Babies four months old and younger are at least two thirds of all hospital cases with pertussis. Chapman also advises:
“Vaccination is the best form of protection. We’re encouraging all parents to vaccinate their children, and for pregnant women to be vaccinated to protect their babies. This will ensure maximum protection against this potentially fatal disease.”
Jen Christensen of CNN News adds that all people must make sure their vaccinations are up to date. This includes pregnant women. When they receive their shots, immunization passes on to the womb. She adds:
“All adults should get a Tdap booster, unless you had one as a teenager (after age 11). Nationally, more than 90% of children get the first three doses of the vaccine, but far fewer get the booster.” CVS Drugs announced that whooping cough vaccinations are now available throughout all their stores in California.
Studies of the 2010 outbreak in California show “ . . . large clusters of parents who did not vaccinate their children close to areas with a large number of whooping cough cases during” that outbreak. So their refusal to receive preventive shots, endangered the lives of children and adults in their environment.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also reports: “Whooping cough cases have spread rapidly in the United States this year, with a 24% increase nationally in the number of cases, compared to January through April of last year.”
Emma Rogers of Vaccine News Daily explains: “Pertussis is a highly contagious respiratory tract infection. Symptoms in children include a two-week cough and runny nose, leading to a worsening cough with a “whooping” sound. Infants may have a red or purple face without a cough.”
So good doctors insists: get your shots and boosters. And above all pray! As plus-sized Christian sweat shirts advise: “Is any among you afflicted? let him pray . . . the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and The Lord shall raise him up . . . pray one for another, that ye may be healed (James 5: 13 – 18).”
Global Warming (i.e. Climate Change) now invites Dengue Fever into the U.S. in full force. This mosquito-borne disease has especially hit Texas and other parts of the South West, invaded Florida, and now even reaches to California.
Eric Wuestewald reveals in ‘Why Dengue and Yellow Fever Could Be Coming to a City Near You’: “This past summer, Aedes aegypti—the invasive African mosquito best known for carrying the potentially deadly diseases Dengue and Yellow Fevers—made its unexpected debut in California, squirming up from Madera to Clovis to Fresno and the Bay Area.”
Only resulting from infected mosquitoes, Dengue Fever cannot transfer from person to person. This disease was once erased in the U.S. through preventive education and controlled insecticide spraying. But after 60 years, the danger returns.
In ‘Dengue Fever Presence in Florida at a Pretty Serious Level,’ Patricia Sagastume says recently the Florida Department of Health found affected patients suffered bites from infected Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. Now health workers find these types of mosquitoes in 30% of the homes in one Florida location.
Two Texas Tech University researchers conclude “that Climate Change would shift rather than increase the risk for Dengue outbreaks in the United States,” and that the disease will probably become something “the U.S. must learn to live with as Climate Change creates opportunities for the disease to flourish.”
However, Florida residents prefer to look at human causes, such as fresh waters in St. Lucie Rivers and Indian River Lagoons polluted by agricultural runoffs, resulting in miles “of slimy green algae blooms that have killed fish, oysters, crabs, sea grasses and other marine life in the waterways.”
In the agency’s 2012 report, the World Health Organization (WHO) writes: “. . . temperatures, precipitation and humidity have a strong influence on the reproduction, survival and biting rates” of Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes. Before 2009, Florida had not seen a Dengue outbreak in over 70 years.
This disease’s early symptoms seem like the flu, but as it advances it can cause harsh stomach pain, nose and mouth bleeding, and even lung and heart problems. A possible life-threatening sickness, Dengue Fever kills 15,000 people in some 100 countries every year. As of yet there is no vaccine against it!
Along with medical check-ups, vitamins, healthy eating and expert doctors, Americans must put more emphasis on prayer for God’s protection from disease. These deadly mosquitoes are the devil’s work shop. So pray for God’s instruments to use against the enemy: “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked (Ephesians 6: 16).”
Plus size Christian sweatshirts avow: “And they overcame him by the blood of The Lamb, and by the word of their testimony (Revelation 12: 11).” Believers must look to The LORD Jesus as The Great Physician: “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease (Matthew 4: 23).”
In rather opaque language, Japan’s nuclear watchdog––i.e. Nuclear Regulation Authority (NRA)––appears to say another large nuclear leak has erupted from a different Fukushima storage tank. (Excuse me while I scream!)
NRA told Mari Yamaguchi of Associated Press today: NRA “proposed Wednesday to define a fresh leakage of highly radioactive leak from one of the hundreds of storage tanks at Japan’s crippled atomic power plant this week, its worst leak yet from such a vessel.” Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) says:
“The leak is the fifth, and the worst, since last year involving tanks of the same design at the wrecked Fukushima Dai-ichi plant, raising concerns that contaminated water could begin leaking from storage tanks one after another.”
[Here comes another scream as I pull my hair out. Where is Jael? This is insane. I must be reassigned.] Mari also tells AP: “During the meeting, officials also revealed that plant workers apparently have overlooked several signs of leaks, suggesting that their twice-daily patrols were largely just a walk.
“They have not monitored water levels inside tanks, obviously missed a puddle forming at the bottom of the tank earlier, and kept open a valve on an anti-leakage barrier around the tanks.” [OK Now I’m livid, jumping up and down!]
Get Rev. Repriestly! This is insane! Want more? This goop was stored in rubber tanks: “TEPCO says the tanks that have leaked use rubber seams that were intended to last about five years. TEPCO spokesman Masayuki Ono said it plans to build additional tanks with welded seams that are more watertight, but will still have to rely on ones with rubber seams.” Rubber seams for nuclear waste????
Mari ends her report: “Contaminated water that TEPCO has been unable to contain continues to enter the Pacific Ocean at a rate of hundreds of tons per day. Much of that is ground water that has mixed with untreated radioactive water at the plant.” Look out U.S. West Coast. It’s coming your way.
Think I’m upset? Listen to what Chinese officials tell Reuters News Service: “China [is] shocked to hear contaminated water [is] still leaking from the plant, [we] urge Japan to provide information in a timely, thorough and accurate way. We hope the Japanese side can earnestly take effective steps to put an end to the negative impact of the after-effects of the Fukushima nuclear accident.”
Under the circumstances, that doesn’t seem to much to ask. After all, that nuclear-filled water hits China first! Isn’t there an International Nuclear Regulatory Agency? Why aren’t they coming over here to help these ‘scientists’?
What about Japanese people? This stuff is in their water and air. Please Rev. Repriestly, this calls for serious prayer. That verse on plus size Christian sweatshirts promises: “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him (James 1: 5).” As this could eventually affect the whole world, please ask God for wisdom to solve it.
