Shaking Quake Swarms, Volcanoes and Science Doesn’t Know?

posted by Sarah N Worthy IATTWJ Member @ 15:14 PM
August 31, 2012

Scientists claim to be baffled about hundreds of earthquake swarms––and in some cases full quakes––pelting Southern California in the last few days, which certainly doesn’t give ease to citizens living with damages from the shakings.

According to Elizabeth Cochran, geophysicist for the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), more than 400 earthquakes or swarms greater than 1.0 in magnitude have hit Imperial County, California, this week.  The largest were 5.3 and 5.5 in magnitude.

The virulent tremors have caused the town of Brawley in Imperial County to declare a state of emergency after rattling swarms knocked some 20 mobile homes off their blocks, forced the National Beef slaughterhouse to close, damaged the local high school, and brought millions in losses to businesses from closures.

Brawley mayor, George Nava, said he took the unusual step to ask for emergency help from the county and state.  Hundreds of swarms lasting for days have brought millions of dollars worth of damage to his region.  Residents from unlivable mobile home, and others suffering without electrical power, air conditioning or running water are staying with the Red Cross.

While Jeanne Hardebeck, USGS research seismologist, insists that these continuing swarms are not a sign that more damaging quakes are imminent, other geologists are not so sure.

Scientists do know that these quake tremors come from water and other fluids moving around in the Earth’s crust.  And swarms are known to evoke volcanic eruptions.  Another USGS scientists, Julie Dutton, admits:  “In volcanically active areas, earthquake swarms often indicate imminent eruptions.”

But Eli MacKinnon from concludes:  “The only potential candidates for volcanic eruptions near Brawley are the Salton Buttes, five small lava domes that flank the Salton Sea and haven’t erupted in close to 10,000 years.”     Cochran explains that to the south of the Salton Sea, the earth’s Pacific plate and North American plate pull away from each other creating the Gulf of California separating Baja California from Mexico.  And Imperial County is caught in the center of the split in what is called the Brawley Seismic Zone.

But what Cochran and other scientists won’t openly admit is that even volcanoes that haven’t erupted in eons can wake up again, just as the long-sleeping Little Sitkin volcano in Alaska’s Aleutian Islands was re-awakened just TODAY by a swarm of small earthquakes.  Sound familiar?

It is time for man and science to acknowledge that only Almighty God knows everything about how earth works, because He made it, as well as the people who live upon it.  A favorite Psalm in the best Bible verse cards is Psalm 24: 1, “The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.”  It is past time for mankind to look to Him for answers––i.e. as in the ‘science’ of prayer!

Deadly Heavy Rains Displace 400,000 Strand 5,500 in Japan

posted by admin @ 9:53 AM
July 16, 2012

Unbelievably heavy rains are taking their toll around the globe.  Now it has hit the island nation of Japan, which still hasn’t recovered from the Fukushima nuclear disaster.  So far, record-setting rain storms have killed 25, uprooted some 400,000 from their homes and separated another 5,400 from the mainland.

Over 4.3 inches of rain an hour have pelted Japan since Wednesday bringing severe flash flooding and cascading mudslides.  Nine people are reported missing.  Police have ordered thousands to leave their homes to prevent more deaths.

In some areas, governments advise Japanese citizens to vacate homes and possessions in order to avoid life-threatening disaster.  They tell displaced persons to go to designated shelters, such as schools and other public facilities.

BBC News says “Water levels along the Yamakuni river in Oita prefecture could be seen climbing up to the height of the roof of a riverside drive-in restaurant. In the Fukuoka prefecture 181 mudslides left at least 820 homes damaged or destroyed and three bridges were washed away.”

So far, most of the fatalities are from victims buried in landslides and or underneath collapsed houses.  But a Kumamoto spokesman said to expect dead and missing numbers to rise.

The Sydney Morning Herald adds that in many areas, the elderly have not survived the storm, being swept away by raging rivers after their homes were destroyed.  Some areas look like earthquake damage rather than rain storms.

The Japan Meteorological Agency tells Kyodo News Agency: “Particularly in Kumamoto and Oita prefectures, we are seeing the heaviest rain that the region has ever experienced.”  Yame resident Tsuneo Otsu, 63, tells the Japanese Times:  “I’ve been living here for 60 years, but I’ve never experienced this before.”

Inquirer News from India reports:  “Television footage showed torrents of muddy, debris-strewn water and flooded houses following what officials described as “unprecedented” downpours from a seasonal rain front.”

As this powerful seasonal rain storm hovers over most of the nation, forecasters expect this sporadic deluge of torrential rains to continue for some time.

Our editor, Jael Ever, has ordered Newspaper Boys and Girls Intl., to get all stories on such unusual rains from around the world to Sarah Newsworthy and Wendy Weathersby as soon as possible.  Obviously this is another example of Global Warming and climate change bringing nations of the world more disaster.

My heart goes out to the Japanese people who have already suffered so much.  May we obey Our LORD’s commandments in wholesale Christian Bibles to “pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5: 17)” for the nation of Japan.  One wonders just how much one country can take.  But unfortunately, in these last days on planet Earth, many places now experience multiplying upheavals of destruction.

Unearthing Earth: Sink Holes in Sweden and Everywhere Else

posted by Wendy Weathersbee @ 9:00 AM
May 5, 2012

Last time we checked, the incredibly giant sink hole in Sweden is still expanding.  The hole threatens houses and farms nearby, and the expanding rumbling pit brings tremors, making awesomely loud noise each time it expands.

Like some pits in other parts of the world, this one seems to be caused by deep mining operations.  LKAB Mining Company runs the mine at Malmberget, in the northern region of Sweden, that caused this sink hole that its neighbors call it the ‘Fabiangropen’ or Fabian Pit.

Because of rich orebodies in the area, LKAB often digs down to even 1,000 meters, or some 3,500 feet.  Now the pit is some 300 feet square wide, as well as deep.  And residents nearby complain that sometimes shaking tremors and the screechingly loud noises can last as long as 45 unnerving minutes.

Berit Hannu, a homeowner living near what is now called ‘the pit to hell’ cries:  “I’m scared, I do not want to be alone in the house when it happens. It is so loud and it only gets louder and louder. It is like having an airplane flying low above the house. It is just like the beginning of a volcano eruption.”  Thorvald Burman who took these pics for mine owners says that the problem is not over and the future for that plot of ground remains uncertain.

The site adds:  “It has to be added that there are many similar huge sinkholes across the world. ‘ Many of them have suddenly just appeared to the astonishment of the locals. This is a worldwide problem.”

In Erzincan, Turkey, an unexplainable 90 foot deep sinkhole sprang up this week on a farm field.  Haydar Kaya, the land owner, contacted the local university and the governor’s office.  Officials soon barbed wired the chasm for safety.

Moreover, explains that sinkholes are mysteriously cropping up around the  world.  They see it as a warning of end times. The site recently reported phenomenon of newly opened sink holes in the United States in:  Winlock, Washington; Charlotte, North Carolina; Fruitport Township, Michigan; Belleville, New Jersey; Price George’s County, Maryland; San Antonio, Ladysmith and in Brazos County and Houston, Texas; San Clemente and in Tulare, California; Columbia, South Carolina; Gainsville, Florida, Portland, Oregon, etc.

They also list the same anomalies in Calgary, Saskatoon, Ontario and British Columbia, Canada; Bangkok, Thailand; Mabrigida, Dominican Republic; Sydney, Ipswich and Queensland, Australia; Tacloban City, Philippines;Azerbaijan; etc.

The impressive list of their sink hole research should indeed be a warning––both of end time death and of judgment.  Used Christian Bibles tells believers: “Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek The LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged (Isaiah 11: 8).  None wish to be swallowed in the hole of earth which is Hell!

Not Just U.S. More Whacky Weather Around the World, Part 2!!

posted by Wendy Weathersbee @ 18:19 PM
April 18, 2012

Reports have come in of violent wind storms––below strength levels of tornadoes or cyclones––causing havoc and death at various spots around the globe.  At the same time, unreasonable drought is also attacking nations everywhere.

The Associated Press says that at least 17 people were killed when strong winds with heavy rains swept through Bangladesh.  That nation’s newspapers claim that these storms tore down huts and felled trees in 10 of the country’s 64 districts of 160 million people.

Near the same time, Argentina reports 14 people  were killed during damage from strong wind storms.  Most of them were crushed when walls collapsed upon them.  Officials claim that 114 trees collapsed on roads and vehicles as well.

As if Japan didn’t have enough of nature’s backlash, this month she has also been hit with violent 73.6 miles per hour winds from a low-pressure system.  The Japan Meteorological agency says that this wind system was not typhoon, cyclone or tsunami.   These high winds do not come from warm water or earthquakes, but instead are caused by differences in air temperatures.  An 82 year old woman and three other victims were killed by these wind paths.

In other weather anomalies this month, half of England is suffering through drought conditions, including the capital city of London, which is known for its constant rain.  Weather experts expect dry weather to continue there for the year.

AFP News Service says that although it rained across the country last week, England’s Environment Agency this week “declared another 17 counties short of water.”  A big problem is that with “two dry winters have left rivers and ground waters depleted,” the government demands that businesses, water companies and consumers be more careful when using water.  Garden hoses are already banned.  Wildlife, wetlands and farm crops will surely be affected.

And for that matter, drought is expanding through the United States.  USA Today reports that most of the nation is “still reeling from devastating drought that led to at least $10 billion in agricultural losses across Texas and the South in 2011.”

The U.S. Drought Monitor determines that most of the lower 48 states suffer from ‘abnormally dry’ or drought conditions:  “Only two states—Ohio and Alaska —are entirely free of abnormally dry or drought conditions.”  Officials are especially concerned about dry conditions in New England, Florida and California.

We will have more on whacky weather and drought, especially in the U. S. in the next blog.  For now Christians must yield to the call of Christian Prayer Books, drought is a call for repentance:  “A drought is upon her waters; and they shall be dried up: for it is the land of graven images, and they are mad upon their idols (Jeremiah 50: 38).”  Let’s get rid of the idols and get serious about God!

100 Killer Tornadoes in Midwest Weekend – More Whacky Weather!!

posted by Wendy Weathersbee @ 15:51 PM
April 17, 2012

Meteorologists say that the types of extreme killer tornadoes tearing through the middle of the nation this weekend will repeatedly hit extended areas of the U.S.  Some 100 tornadoes ripped through five states, and killed six people in Oklahoma. The National Weather Service warns of an especially violent storm season.

Officials add that instead of the usual “Tornado Alley––the plains states of Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska and South Dakota,” boundaries expand “into the South and Midwest.” The weekend storms were also in Wisconsin and Iowa.
Across affected areas balls of hail fell, downed power lines left thousands without electricity, schools closed, uprooted trees covered homes and closed roads, roofs were destroyed, and the American Red Cross opened relief shelters and meals to displaced residents.

AFP News Service cites a report by the CoreLogic research group that now “Florida, Iowa, Louisiana and Mississippi have joined Kansas among the ranks of the most tornado-hit US states.”  Further, CoreLogic states that the tornado risk in the U.S. now extends across the eastern U.S. putting at least 26 states in danger.

The News Service adds:  “It was just the second time in US history that the National Weather Service’s Storm Prediction Center issued a high-risk warning more than 24 hours in advance.”  Those warnings prevented even more deaths.  The National Weather Service also warns that these types of “severe storms”––i.e. rain, wind, lightening, etc.–– are now possible in most of the U.S.

While total costs for this weekend’s damage has not been estimated, Scientific American (SA) says that totals for last month’s tornadoes were over a billion dollars.  Tornadoes in March killed 40 people.

The SA cite says, “From March 2 through the early hours of March 3, 132 tornadoes were reported across nine states, . . . causing more than 1.5 billion in damages.”  However, damage claims may be denied “because tornadoes are ‘atypical‘ events by nature.   SA adds that 2011 was “a record-breaking year for devastation . . .  the United States experienced 14 separate events that caused $1 billion or more in damage.  Five of those events were tornado outbreaks.”

While he never used the term “global warming,” Jake Crouch of the National Climatic Data Center said “atmospheric conditions caused unseasonably warm temperatures . . . across huge swaths of the U. S. allowed warm, moist air up to . . . collide with cold, drier air . . . a key ingredient for severe weather.”

But everyone knows something’s whacky with the weather, and they suspect its Global Warming.  Read what kids are saying on Christian children’s t-shirts : “. . . let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light (Romans 13: 12).”  Our nation must face the truth about Global Warming!

No Tsunamis After Two 8.2+ Earthquakes, But More Quakes, Part 2

posted by Sarah N Worthy IATTWJ Member @ 11:19 AM
April 16, 2012

Tsunami alerts have been cancelled in the Indonesian / Indian Ocean region.  As we reported yesterday, the two huge earthquakes involved no casualties.  However, their shelf movements did cause other quakes around the world.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) a 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit Mexico’s Pacific coast near Mexico City yesterday as well.  Reaching down into the ocean some 40 miles, that quake’s shaking sent thousands rushing out of offices onto the city’s streets.  Smaller quakes also hit other areas.

The founder of connects the two huge quakes in the Indian Ocean with the Mexico quakes: “As I warned in my book The Extinction Protocol, the power unleashed in these seismic events is growing. This is testament to the dangers and seriousness of the earth-changes facing us and how these events are unleashing more unbridled force with each successive eruption. The Indian Ocean strike-slip fault earthquakes are very unusual.”

Other scientists agree with him that the strike-slip fault earthquakes in the Indian Ocean are “very unusual.” The Associated Press (AP) says:  “The massive earthquake off Indonesia surprised scientists: Usually this type of jolt isn’t this powerful.”  AP quotes Susan Hough USGS seismologist:  “It’s clear a bit of an odd duck.”  The Indian Ocean quake area is similar to California’s San Andreas Fault.

Most powerful earthquakes result when in ‘subduction zones’ one plate pushes against another, which was the case in Japan’s massive quake last year.  But yesterday’s quakes are referred to as ‘strike-slip quakes’ because enormous sections of rocks slide “horizontally past each other.”

Kevin Furlong, Geo-sciences professor at Penn State University, explains:  “A week ago, we wouldn’t have thought we could have a strike-slip earthquake of this size. This is very, very large.”

In fact, USGS ranks yesterdays quakes as record setting, saying that it may well be the largest strike-ship quake in known history.  AP adds that this region has been rattled by three strong strike-slip quakes recently, but this was the largest.

EP concludes:  “Just so we understand the significance of what transpired today; the Japanese March 11, 2011 earthquake move the ocean floor 79 feet sideways and 10 ft upwards, but today’s earthquakes happened in double 8.0+ magnitude sequence and moved the earth nearly as far. Worst, the seismic tension from the event ricocheted around the world and contributed to other earthquakes.”

In Amos chapter 4, God tells Israel that He had sent them warning after warning that it was time to repent, but the nation would not listen.  Finally, He tells them:  “prepare to meet thy God (4: 12).”  In view of these earth shattering quakes, that message should blare on billboards and plus size Christian t-shirts everywhere!

Indonesia Areas Await Tsunamis After Two Massive Earthquakes

posted by Sarah N Worthy IATTWJ Member @ 15:28 PM
April 11, 2012

We interrupt our reporting on contaminated air and water in the United States for a breaking story on two 8.0 to 8.7 magnitude earthquakes that rocked the Pacific Coast of Indonesia this morning.

According to, the first quake struck at about 4: 30 this morning East Coast Time, some 270 miles southwest of Banda Aceh, the capital of Indonesia’s Aceh province.  The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) says that quake had a magnitude of 8.6 with a depth of 14 miles.

The second quake, recorded at 8.2 magnitude hit the west coast of Sumatra some two hours later.  The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center issued a tsunami watch for the entire Indian Ocean, and the Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency also put up a tsunami warning.

So far there are no reports of causalities from either quake, but millions of people are racing out of low lying areas in order to reach higher levels before potential tsunamis hit the beaches.

Bloomberg News reports:  “The quake struck 431 kilometers (268 miles) off the coast of Aceh, one of Indonesia’s poorest provinces where 170,000 people died or went missing in an Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004.”

After the 9.1 magnitude quake hit Sumatra in 2004 caused billions in damages, and destroyed whole communities, that nation is especially wary of quakes, aftershocks and especially the following tsunamis.  Citizens there are also aware that these latest earthquakes come about a year after the 9.0 magnitude quake and tsunami brought Japan to its knees.

However, Gary Gibson from the Seismology Research Center in Melbourne, Australia, says that the location of the second quake reduces the possibility of a tsunami.  He adds that because the quakes seem to be caused by horizontal, rather than vertical, movement, it is less likely they will generate tsunamis.

According to India “The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre issued the tsunami watch for 28 countries, including Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka, Australia, Myanmar, Thailand, Maldives, Britain, Malaysia, Mauritius, Syechelles, Pakistan, Somalia, Oman, Madagascar, Iran, UAE, Yemen, Bangladsh, Tanzania, Mozambique, Kenya, South Africa and Singapore.”

We will keep you informed on these quakes as news breaks.  Our sight, along with World’s Collide, is dedicated to showing our readers that we now live in the last times of man’s rule on earth.  In Bible prophecies, The LORD Jesus gave us signs of these end times:  “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows (Mark 13: 8).”

Cause for Unexplainable Loud Noises: More Earthquakes?

posted by Sarah N Worthy IATTWJ Member @ 7:14 AM
March 26, 2012

This weekend, according to the Associated Press, the United States Geological Service (USGS) somewhat admitted that the large booming noises keeping people awake in the U.S. and elsewhere MAY be caused by  earthquakes.

Geophysicist Paul Caruso told AP reporter Dinesh Ramde:  “booming noises have been known to accompany earthquakes. It’s possible the mysterious sounds that town officials have been investigating are linked to the quake.”

Then Caruso followed up with:  “To be honest, I’m skeptical that there’d be a sound report associated with such a small earthquake, but it’s possible.”

But such equivocating didn’t stop Clintonville (Wisconsin) City Administrator Lisa Kuss from announcing, “the mystery is solved.” She claimed that USGS representatives “described the event as a swarm of several small earthquakes in a very short time.”

Kuss added other assumptions to the tepid USGS report: “In other places in the United States, a 1.5 earthquake would not be felt . . . But the type of rock Wisconsin has transmits seismic energy very well.”  Kuss is under a great deal of political pressure.  Angry Clintonville residents awakened in the middle of the night by loud booms and shaking grounds demand answers.

Earthquakes, volcanoes, hot spring weather, blasting winters, and now sudden loud and very long unexplained noises.  Apparently, people in various parts of the world have reported so many of these noises, that some authorities (at least in the United States) have issued a disinformation campaign against them.

The scientific experts at Extinction Protocol 2012 have published press releases about these noises.  Those reports indicate that what happened in towns like Clintonville cannot be denied.  There are just too many witnesses, in areas like Southport, Sunset Harbor and other cities in North Carolina; Richmond Hill, Georgia; Barrie, Ontario in Canada; Killarney, Ireland, etc.!

In these times of such mysteries and other uncontrollable events in nature, our fellow bloggers, John, Jude and their team hold strong prayer meetings.  I hope that other believers are doing so as well.  The Body of Christ functions because God gives all true believers different gifts: “Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit (1 Corinthians 12: 4).”

Everyone is not a teacher or pastor.  But everyone can pray!  The LORD Jesus gave requirements for The Body of Christ to function.  One requirement is love––non-pretended, patiently practiced love.  Another is the for each one to wholeheartedly carry out the qualities of the gifts He bestows.  Our online Bible lessons teach that prayer is essential for The Body of Christ.  Such prayer may open everyone’s eyes to the reason for these strange noises:  “Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity (2 Timothy 2: 19).”

Volcanoes in Violent Coordinated Erupting Around the World

posted by Sarah N Worthy IATTWJ Member @ 19:23 PM
March 15, 2012

Has anyone noticed that volcanoes seem to be awakening more than ever this year.  Some eruptions that have been dormant for years have joined threatening noises from other fiery mountains around the world.
Even in the United States, fiery volcanoes have come alive in at least two states.  The Illiama and Cleveland volcanoes in Alaska and the Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii––all now bubble with possibilities for major overflows.

This week, according to the Alaska Public News Service, the Cleveland volcano has exploded for the third time in seven days.  Although no ash could be detected, authorities have not put real-time monitoring equipment there.  But distant seismometers and microphones measured the explosion on March 8th as sending forth airways traveling at the speed of sound.

Explosions, most probably caused by earthquakes, have emitted from Alaska Illiamna volcano for the last thee months, apparently on an ongoing basis.  And the Kiluea Volcano in Hawaii continuously sends forth so much lava that it has created a path to the Pacific Ocean.  Lava is also flowing out from the other direction away from the ocean, and it’s fires have destroyed the house of at least one fisherman in the village that sits right in the flow’s path.

Moreover, the National Center for Disaster Prevention in Mexico reports that its Popocatepetl “has expelled nine low-intensity exhalation accompanied by emissions of water vapor and gas, and sometimes small amounts of ash.”  Cronica News Service says that the entire area around this mountain is on evacuation alert.

And, as if Japan did not have enough concerns with this week’s new 6.9 quake and the following tsunami, its Sakurajima Volcano is now spewing hot rocks and ash as it violently shakes, sending up plumes as high as 10,000 feet.  Even this much activity is unusual for Sakurajima which Volcano Discovery says is one of the few volcanoes in the world that has persistent activity.

In the next blog, we will cover other apparently coordinated volcanic explosions up around the world, with a discussion of the possible causes.  Fiery mountains sending up deadly lavas in Columbia, Costa Rica, Greece, Russia, Montserrat, Indonesia the Philippines, Mexico, etc.  We will also explore secular prophecies about super-volcanoes set to go off in December, 2012.

A famous hymn once asked, “Where will you be when the world’s on fire.”  Print that question on Wholesale Christian T-Shirts so that everyone gets the message.  Fire on mountains symbolizes God’s anger toward the unrepentant sins of ignoring His laws and His creation:  “For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains (Deuteronomy 32: 22).”  Its time to everyone to repent––even Christians as well as sinners!

Cold Blue: Europe-Temps Low As Minus 40 (F): Economy Crippled

posted by admin @ 18:46 PM
February 13, 2012

Jael:  Again the team will share reports of what we have garnered out of Europe.  The entire news world knows these reports are incomplete as many areas are cut off from communication, as well as from heat and medical treatment.

Dr. Adversery Bored:  The death toll has climbed to 550, and dozens more are expected as hundreds of villages, especially in Eastern Europe, are completely cut off, some in flooded conditions, and some 500 other towns cut off with no electricity or other heat, behind closed roads, and in need of medical attention.   Even where hospitals can function, supplies are either very low or exhausted.

Victims were found frozen to death in or near their homes, others accidently slid into freezing waters, or were overtaken by floods from broken dams.  Some fell under attacks of falling ice.  Working in cold temperatures, often dark, as utilities demand hours of down time to conserve energy, doctors in thousands of shelters and hospitals try to heal patients and keep them warm and alive.

Newsworthy:  The 1,780 mile long Danube River has been frozen for two weeks now, greatly affecting the economies of 10 countries which, according to Yahoo News, depend on the River for commerce in: “transport, power, irrigation, industry and fishing.”  The River is blocked from Austria to the Black Sea.
Hundreds of vessels are either stuck in port or trapped on frozen waters.

Not only is there little or no airplane or helicopter flights, in most of these affected countries, even rail transportation has been halted either by snow-blocked or flooded out rails.  And auto transportation is restricted for emergency use.

Moreover, officials in all of these countries expect severe flooding and other damage once the freezing starts to thaw:  “An official from the Serbian economy ministry said the commercial repercussions ‘could be very bad;’” while another official said shipping would not resume for at least another 10 days.

Weathersbee:  Even in Britain, it will be -13 C.  In some places, temperatures have dropped as low as -40 degrees, a place where Fahrenheit and Celsius are equal.  Some villages are completely flooded out because of rains, avalanches and broken dams.

Also Lee Moran of says, “Residents were also warned that there was more snow to come––which would be followed by severe floods when the temperature finally starts to rise and the snow melts.”

Jael:  We know most Americans would prefer not to read about these tragedies.  But if people are ever to understand Global Warming, they must know about its affects.  They must also comprehend that such conditions can easily turn to this country.  The Book of Revelation prophesies that billions will be destroyed by natural and spiritual collapses (chapters 6, 9, 13, 16 etc.).  Thus, readers should see the continent today as a predictor of things to come.
