Political Wars, Flooding Diseases or ?: 57,000 Kids Cross U.S. Border

illegals-children    An unbiased observer has difficulty discerning the truth about threats of new diseases that thousands of children from nations below Mexico could bring to the United States. Clearly, whether at the border, or other U.S. cities, children and adults flooding U.S. southern borders should have careful medical examinations.

On one side, some claim that stories about diseased children are planted to embarrass the government.  On the other side, others claim doctors and nurses face threats if they tell the truth about the numbers of diseases this new group of illegal immigrants bring with them into this country.

Undoubtedly, the truth is somewhere in the middle. Beyond issues of possible diseases, however, other questions need answers: First:  If El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras––where this new wave of immigrants from Central America come from––are such poor countries, how can impoverished parents raise thousands of dollars to pay “coyote” criminals to transport them to America?

It should be apparent that some kind of organized funding is behind the sudden move of thousands of people across hundreds of miles of dangerous desert to reach the U.S. border. What political entities stand to gain by embarrassing their opposite political entities? What criminal elements cross with these children?

Who gains by forcing the American government to send thousands of children back home to possible criminal environments? But then there are criminal environments in the U.S. with hundreds of American children killed on a regular basis, about which little is done? So how will these new children be safer here?

Second: The public is told the immigrant children are fleeing extreme criminal activity in those nations.  But, if criminal elements in these nations are so horrendous as to force children as young as three years old to walk hundreds of miles to get to the U.S. border, then why hasn’t the American government done more to help these nations stem such a criminal tide?

If the U.S. intervenes in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, why can’t it intervene in Central America, which is much closer to America’s shores? What is the strength of diplomatic and intelligence operations in those nations? How could this sudden influx flooding across the southern border be such a surprise?

Third: In groups of thousands, these masses trekked through Mexico. Did that government not see them? What did that nation do to turn them back, or to warn the U.S. of the pending invasion of mostly children? Why wasn’t Mexico’s southern border better sealed?  Where are Mexico’s police and border patrols?train-loads-of-illegal-aliens

Medical science clearly defines diseases that are more than physical.  Diseases of the mind can incapacitate the human spirit. Of course, diseases of the heart can also weaken the body.  What applies to the physical man, magnifies toward a nation?  In this situation, American must strengthen her body and soul.

As wholesale Christian sweatshirts implore men and nations, like good scientists, good journalists must work to get to the heart of an illness: “Her princes within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they gnaw not the bones till the morrow (Zephaniah 3: 3).”

JAPAN-DISASTER-ACCIDENT-NUCLEAR-PROTEST    Government officials refuse to admit it, but deadly emissions from Japan’s Fukushima nuclear disaster now sicken and kill that nation’s children. Moreover, rates of illnesses increase daily including thyroid cancer, continuing nose bleeds, endless asthma coughing, etc. Some teens and elderly mysteriously die.

Reuters reports: “The Tenth Report of the Fukushima Prefecture Health Management Survey . . . with data up to January 21, 2013, revealed that 44.2 percent of 94,975 children sampled had thyroid ultrasound abnormalities. The number of abnormalities has also been increasing over time as well . . .”

Harvey Wasserman of ecowatch.com writes : “Some 39 months after the multiple explosions at Fukushima, thyroid cancer rates among nearby children have skyrocketed to more than forty times (40x) normal.

“More than 48 percent of some 375,000 young people—nearly 200,000 kids—tested by the Fukushima Medical University near the smoldering reactors now suffer from pre-cancerous thyroid abnormalities . . . The rate is accelerating.”

Dr. Shigeru Mita from the Mita Clinic in Tokyo warns in well.com that increases in rare diseases means children and adults must move farther away from radiation: “It all began in the summer of 2011 just a few months after the Fukushima disaster, when higher than normal numbers of children with unusual symptoms began to flood his office.

“Bloodshot eyes, dark circles under the eyes and sinusitis were some of the more common symptoms, as well as persistent asthma symptoms that would carry on for long periods of time, something that was not the norm prior to the disaster.”  He adds: “the average neutrophil count (the most abundant type of white blood cell) has declined considerably in children between the ages of six and 12.”

So Mita is advising his patients to move away from affected areas, considering that:  “An increasing number of adult patients are also developing strange symptoms like extended bouts of asthma that are not responding to common treatment protocols. There has also been a considerable uptick in the number of deaths from these symptoms, especially among the elderly.

“The medication doesn’t seem to work . . . We also see more patients with diseases that had been rare before, such as polymyalgia rheumatica…. Before Fukushima, we had one or less patient per year. Now, we treat more than 10 patients at the same time.”

Yukiko Kameya, Fukushima nuclear refugee, told Reuters “Government officials ignore all the problems we’re c7_thyroid_cancerhaving. There are many young people between 15 and 19 in Fukushima who are in high school who have died suddenly. . . and there are 59 children with thyroid cancer, they’ll never recognize it as being caused by the radiation.”

Yet Wasserman writes: “The nuclear industry and its apologists continue to deny this public health tragedy. Some have actually asserted that “not one person” has been affected by Fukushima’s massive radiation releases, which for some isotopes exceed Hiroshima by a factor of nearly 30.”

Japan is a perfect example of why Christians must pray for God and His Son to return to rule earth entirely. TEPCO, owner the leaking plant, cannot clean up its mess, and national rulers refuse to run it. Thus, as wholesale Christian t-shirts beg:  “Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus (Revelation 22: 20).”

Selfish Idealistic Parents, Diseased Travelers & Rising Measles in U.S.

posted by Dr. Ad Versery Bored @ 15:37 PM
June 17, 2014

2-US-Faces-Worst-Measles-Outbreak-In-20-Years-942x1024    Whatever happened to the days when vaccination for measles was mandatory before any child could enroll in school? Unless those days return, this nation’s children are increasingly endangered by a growing measles epidemic.

In ‘Measles Cases at Highest Level in Nearly 20 Years,’ CDC reports CNN’s Trisha Henry discusses this year’s record breaking number of measles victims: “More people have been infected with measles in the United States during the first four months of this year than have been infected in the first four months of the past 18 years, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

“The CDC says many of the California cases are a result of people visiting the Philippines, which is experiencing a very large measles outbreak; at least 20,000 confirmed and suspected cases have been reported in the Asian nation.”

Health Day reporter, Amy Norton, explains how this outbreak could have began:  “An unvaccinated person travels abroad, brings measles back and infects vulnerable people––including children who are unprotected because their parents chose not to vaccinate them.”  That’s this week’s conclusion in ‘Pediatrics’ Journal.

“ . . . an unvaccinated 2-year-old was taken to Kenya, where he contracted the measles virus. After returning to the page-42-Does-my-child-have-measles1-650x493United States, the child developed a fever, cough and vomiting. However, before measles was diagnosed, he passed the virus on to three children in a drop-in child care center and another household member.

“Nine of the children ultimately infected were old enough to have received the measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine but had not. . . . the child’s parents feared the MMR vaccine could cause autism, . . . many studies since have found no connection between the vaccine and autism.”

Vincent Iannelli, M.D. writes:  “So far, there have already been at least 402 confirmed cases of measles in the U.S. in 2014 (the most in 18 years).  At least 314 cases of measles in Ohio since March 22.”  McClatchy News adds:

“In Ohio alone, 138 cases have been linked to Amish communities where several members had traveled to the Philippines . . . Fifteen outbreaks, involving three or more related cases, have occurred in places like New York City and in California, where six outbreaks were reported in six counties. Forty-three people have been hospitalized nationally, but no deaths have yet been reported.”

Mumps is the other record-breaking outbreak of disease rampaging among children this year.  As the dailybeast.com asks:  “This week, New Jersey joined New York and Ohio as the third U.S. location to have a mumps outbreak this year—and it probably won’t be the last. Is it time for mandatory vaccines?”

This nation must protect its children by making vaccinations mandatory.  Because of their unproven objections, a few parents should not be free to make other children sick. As plus-size Christian t-shirts insists: “In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother (1 John 3: 10).”

Global Warming and the Return of Ancient Diseases

posted by Dr Ad Versery and Frank Butterman Food Inspector @ 9:00 AM
June 5, 2014

Diseases-Ancient-Greece      Americans long accepted perspectives of: 1)  First World medically-cleansed societies; 2) Excessively viral environments as Third World problems; and 3) Illusions of rare diseases as ‘new.’  But results of Global Warming, smarter germs, and ‘scientific diggings for the dead’ unveil truths about resurrected ancient illnesses, and increasingly dispel myths about current diseases.

Highly successful medical professions, well-researched and funded drug industries, and firm federal governmental support seem to insure healthier futures for American people. But militantly resistant viruses weaken those protectors.

Around the world, floods from Global Warming deliver diseases to formerly healthy nations.  Zelijko Paradzik shows in ‘Similarities of Survival: Experiencing the Floods in Bosnia’ how Global Warming endangers a nation’s health:

“All of us were refugees within hours––thousands of people now homeless, sick and socially endangered. . . the Posavina region is an area of rivers, animals and forest, there is a great risk that deadly diseases could reach epidemic proportions, given the smothered animals, insects and high temperatures.”

Kara Rogers posits in ‘The Return of Ancient Viruses: Freed from Glaciers in a Warming World’: “Viruses are paragons of . . . persistence made indefinite by the ability to lie dormant for many years and in extreme environments.

“As temperatures rise, mosquitoes and other animal carriers of infectious diseases will expand their populations into areas that were once too cool to support [them].  This incites the spread of tropical diseases such as yellow fever, Ebola, and dengue . . . environmental ice can serve as a reservoir for ancient and potentially infectious agents but also that viruses from the past may be released periodically from glaciers as they melt and are eroded over time.”

In ‘6 Diseases Back from the Dead,’ popularmechanics.com writes: “Plague, TB, and measles seem like illnesses of the history books or infections beaten back by modern science.  But once-vanquished diseases are now reemerging” globally.

The article concludes the Plague (Black Death), Leptospirosis, Typhoid, Tuberculosis, Dengue Fever, and Measles Plague-identibiable-diseasehave been around for thousands of years, and are increasingly diagnosed as illnesses in the U.S.

In ‘Return of the Black Death: Ancient Bug Plagues Us Once Again,”      Etan Smallman discloses: “Scientists warn a strain of plague that killed more than 100 million people could rise from the dead and strike again.

“Characterized by painful swellings, or buboes, in the lymph nodes, bubonic plague––or the Black Death––killed an estimated 25 million people in Europe during the Middle Ages. . . commonly transmitted by flea bites . . .”

Ann Widdecombe adds leprosy and rickets to the list in ‘Ancient Diseases Return.’ “More than 130 countries last year reported leprosy.”. . rickets have increased four-fold in 15 years––because children do not get enough vitamin D.

When America was a stronger Christian nation, she was healthier.  But, in her weaker state of faith in God, the nation will find His protections waning. Christians must ask God to restore authentic ministries of healing to the Body of Christ.  As wholesale Christian Bibles promise: “But the manifestation of The Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. . .to another the gifts of healing by The Same Spirit . . . (1 Corinthians 12:7 – 9).

Vital, Even Life-Saving: Advice to Prevent Spreading Virus Infections

posted by Maleekie Ambularie @ 18:11 PM
May 21, 2014

Catching-animal-diseases    Dr. Boring is on overseas assignment, so he has asked me (earthend’s Africa and Asia medical practitioner and correspondent) to issue this blog on preventive measures so readers should take in this day of globally spreading diseases.

Lizzie Bennett of Underground Medic writes:  “The single most important thing you can do to prevent the spread of disease in a crisis is to keep your hands clean and keep them away from your nose and mouth.”

But she goes even further. “Wearing gloves when out and about will prevent you picking up germs on your hands. Be sure not to touch your nose or face until you have removed your gloves and washed your hands.”

In ‘Are You Ready Series: Pandemic Preparedness,’ Tess Pennington agrees:  “Keep your hands clean. Washing your hands often will help protect you from germs. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand rub or make your own natural hand sanitizer.” For self-made hand sanitizer, she suggests:

She suggests one cup of pure aloe vera gel, 1 or 2 teaspoons of witch hazel and 8 drops of essential oils, such as cedar wood, lavender, lemon, lemon grass, myrrh, neroli, patchouli, peppermint, rose, sandalwood, tea tree, thyme, etc.

Ms. Bennett’s next step may seem far-reaching, but days are coming when it may soon be necessary:  “Have as little Cover-your-nose-mouth-prevent-spreading-germsphysical contact with ‘outsiders’ as possible and consider wearing a face mask or a scarf over your nose and mouth.

“In addition to forming a physical barrier to many airborne contaminants it minimizes the risks of hand to mouth contamination should you touch your face with contaminated fingers, be they gloved or not.”

Do you remember those days when thinking it odd that people asked you to remove your shoes before entering their home? Well Lizzie thinks that’s a good idea too:  “Make sure you remove outerwear, including footwear before re-entering your home. Mites, ticks, feces etc picked up by your outer clothes will not make it indoors if you remove them and put them into a bucket with a lid.”

After seven days, bugs are gone.  Also, “keep a tub of some kind full of bleach water just outside the door so that hands can be washed before entering. Pay attention to the area between the fingers, the tips of your fingers and your nails.”

For serious disease pandemics (which well may be coming soon), Tess Pennington also suggests: “1) Store a two week supply of water and food. During a pandemic, if you cannot get to a store, or if stores are out of supplies, it will be important for you to have extra supplies on hand; 2) Have a supply of face masks to wear around those who may be ill or exposed to the illness;

3) Periodically check your regular prescription drugs to ensure a continuous supply in your home; 4) Have any nonprescription drugs and other health supplies on hand, including pain relievers, stomach remedies, cough and cold medicines, fluids with electrolytes, and vitamins; 5) Prepare a sick room for the home to limit family member’s exposure to the virus.”

Finally, Pennington closes with more excellent advice:  “Pandemic outbreaks are fast moving and vaccines may not be able to stop it. This natural occurring disaster is not one you should take lightly.”

But most Americans are not prepared for ‘normal’ illnesses, much less pandemics. Christians must keep in mind the slogan on earth-end’s plus-sized Christian t-shirts:  “. . . I Am The LORD that healeth thee (Exodus 15: 26).”

MERS: The Continuous Spread of New & Old Diseases, Part 3

posted by Dr. Ad Versery Bored @ 17:49 PM
May 6, 2014

Munster-Indiana-hospital-MERS-Outbreak    All major news services report that the first U.S. MERS patient will leave the hospital in Munster, Indiana, soon. Officials have isolated all hospital personnel who came in contact with the victim, as well as his family, and those on the plane with him from Middle East, and on the bus from the airport to Indiana.

New information says he is an America citizen in his 60s, who nonetheless works as a health care worker at a hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.  Dr. Alan Kumar, chief medical information officer at Community Hospital in Munster told Tom Coyne of Associated Press:

“While the virus is not highly contagious, the hospital isolated at home 50 employees identified as having come in contact with the man before he was diagnosed.  Also as a precaution, members of the man’s family have been told to stay home and wear masks if they leave.”

Indiana State Department of Health Commissioner William VanNess II tells Coyne that a MERS case in Indiana is “a scary situation.” He admitted that the medical community doesn’t know much about this virus.MERS-Virus-Outbreak

Dr. Daniel Feikin, an epidemiologist with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, reports officials have contacted some 75 of the 100 people on the plane to Chicago, but they still work to reach all the bus passengers.

Juan Perez Jr. and Andy Grimm of the Chicago Tribune adds more about precautions against MERS in place at the Community Hospital in Muster: “Roughly 50 hospital nurses, clerks, aides, dietary experts and other workers who came into contact with the patient before his infection was confirmed are on paid leave—isolated inside their homes as experts watch for signs of symptoms and test for infection during the virus’ known incubation period.”

Adding to the mystery as to why a U.S. citizen chooses to work in Riyadh, Perez and Grimm claim this MERS patient only came to the U.S. “for a planned visit,” and that he flew to London before landing in Chicago. But London officials have not disclosed what they are doing about passengers on that leg of the flight.

The medical team at ‘earth-end’ realizes there are still stories promised about other lethal diseases rushing to the forefront.  But, in addition to updates on this and other possible MERS patients, news stories are exploding about massive growths of  polio cases around the world. So the team will address them all soon.

Meanwhile, if you were in any of the locations discussed above, and/or have any flu-like symptoms, please see a doctor or hospital immediately.  Remember, this onslaught of diseases is foretold many times in wholesale Christian Bibles as indicators that this generation is in the Earth’s last days:

Psalm 91: 6 refers to “the pestilence that walketh in darkness.” Jeremiah chapters 21, 24, 27, 29, 34, 38, 42 and 44, as well as Ezekiel 5 and 6, and Revelation 6 refer to this pestilence as accompanying times of war., famine and other types of destruction.  Dictionary.com defines pestilence as “a deadly or virulent epidemic disease.”

In His New Testament prophecies, The LORD Jesus adds earthquakes and other natural disasters:  “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places (Matthew 24: 7);” and “great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven (Luke 21: 11).” These would include Global Warming! Time for Prayer!

Deadly Swine Flu Hits U.S. with Winter Outbreak

posted by Dr. Ad Versery Bored @ 14:18 PM
January 27, 2014

H1N1-hospital-entrance    National media does not admit it, but an usually high number of Americans are dying from attacks of swine flu this winter, particularly children.  While flu cases speed up around the country, Texas and California are particularly hard hit.

Marina Lopes of Reuters reports from the Center for Disease Control [CDC] in ‘Seasonal Flu Spreading Quickly This Year in the United States’:  “Nearly half of the United States is reporting widespread influenza activity, most of it attributed to the H1N1 virus that caused a worldwide pandemic in 2009.”

CDC’s Dr. Joe Bresee adds: “We are seeing a big uptick in disease in the past couple of weeks. The virus is all around the United States right now.  There is still a lot of season to come.” Thus he recommends people get vaccinated now.

In ‘Dramatic Rise in Flu Deaths Reported by California Health Officials,’
Soumya Karlamangla discloses:  “State health officials reported Friday that California influenza deaths this flu season have doubled to 95, with an additional 51 cases likely to be confirmed next week.  That would put this year’s number of flu fatalities so far at 146. At this time last year, nine deaths had been confirmed, and only 106 were confirmed by the end of the season.”

Dr. Gil Chavez, California epidemiologist says; “So far we have a much more severe season.  In part, the gap between this year’s deaths and the number of deaths at this time last year is because this year’s season struck early. . . this year’s predominant flu strain is H1N1 ‘swine flu,’ which is more deadly than other strains. Seventy-five of this year’s 95 confirmed deaths were caused by H1N1.”

Chavez explains that  H1N1 swine flu aims particularly at young adults.  Ashley Hayes of CNN argues further that Latest-Influenza-Report-2014widespread flu activity is now in 35 states––an increase of 10 states in in a week.  “ ‘Widespread’ means that more than 50% of geographic regions in a state––counties, for example––are reporting flu activity. The most severe activity was seen in parts of the South and Southwest.”

Hayes emphasizes hospitals are overwhelmed with flu victims: “In some areas, including central Texas and the San Francisco Bay Area, overflow tents have been set up to handle flu patients.” CDC does not keep records on adult flu deaths.

However: “A total of 10 influenza-related child deaths have been reported since September 29. . .  The CDC has estimated that from 1976 through 2007, between 3,000 and 49,000 people died of flu-related causes.”

She passes on CDC advise:  “Antiviral medications are a good treatment if you do get sick, Jhung said, particularly those at high risk for complications. Ideally, antivirals should be started within two days of when symptoms appear.”

Ministries of healings must return to The Body of Christ in the United States.  Mark 3: 14 – 15 in wholesale Christian Bibles identifies the missions of Christ’s servants: “And He ordained twelve, that they should be with Him, and that He might send them forth to preach,  And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils.” These ‘new’ diseases will soon overwhelm traditional physicians, medicines and other ‘accepted’ remedies. And only God will be The Healer.

Dengue Fever Mosquitoes Attacking U.S. From Florida to California

posted by Dr. Ad Versery Bored @ 11:52 AM
November 26, 2013

dengue1_20100304    Global Warming (i.e. Climate Change) now invites Dengue Fever into the U.S. in full force.  This mosquito-borne disease has especially hit Texas and other parts of the South West, invaded Florida, and now even reaches to California.

Eric Wuestewald reveals in ‘Why Dengue and Yellow Fever Could Be Coming to a City Near You’:  “This past summer, Aedes aegypti—the invasive African mosquito best known for carrying the potentially deadly diseases Dengue and Yellow Fevers—made its unexpected debut in California, squirming up from Madera to Clovis to Fresno and the Bay Area.”

Only resulting from infected mosquitoes, Dengue Fever cannot transfer from person to person. This disease was once erased in the U.S. through preventive education and controlled insecticide spraying. But after 60 years, the danger returns.

In ‘Dengue Fever Presence in Florida at a Pretty Serious Level,’ Patricia Sagastume says recently the Florida Department of Health found affected patients suffered bites from infected Aedes aegypti mosquitoes.  Now health workers find these types of mosquitoes in 30% of the homes in one Florida location.

Two Texas Tech University researchers conclude “that Climate Change would shift rather than increase the risk for Dengue outbreaks in the United States,” and that the disease will probably become something “the U.S. must learn to live with as Climate Change creates opportunities for the disease to flourish.”

However, Florida residents prefer to look at human causes, such as fresh waters in St. Lucie Rivers and Indian River Lagoons polluted by agricultural runoffs, resulting in miles “of slimy green algae blooms that have killed fish, oysters, crabs, sea grasses and other marine life in the waterways.”

In the agency’s 2012 report, the World Health Organization (WHO) writes:  “. . .  temperatures, precipitation and humidity have a strong influence on the reproduction, survival and biting rates” of Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes.  Before 2009, Florida had not seen a Dengue outbreak in over 70 years.

This disease’s early symptoms seem like the flu, but as it advances it can cause harsh stomach pain, nose and mouth Dengue-Fever-Symptomsbleeding, and even lung and heart problems.  A possible life-threatening sickness, Dengue Fever kills 15,000 people in some 100 countries every year.  As of yet there is no vaccine against it!

Along with medical check-ups, vitamins, healthy eating and expert doctors, Americans must put more emphasis on prayer for God’s protection from disease.  These deadly mosquitoes are the devil’s work shop.  So pray for God’s instruments to use against the enemy:  “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked (Ephesians 6: 16).”

Plus size Christian sweatshirts avow:  “And they overcame him by the blood of The Lamb, and by the word of their testimony (Revelation 12: 11).”  Believers must look to The LORD Jesus as The Great Physician:  “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease (Matthew 4: 23).”

Global Warming Driving Planet Into Death & Human Extinction

posted by Dr. Ad Versery Bored @ 1:26 AM
September 6, 2013

global-warming-kills        Various public and private agencies in the last few weeks privately admit that Global Warming brings more death to Planet Earth than previously expected.  In charting likely increased diseases hotter weather will bring, the World Health Organization (WHO) covertly cites:

Changes in air pollution and aeroallergen levels; 2) Changed transmission of additional infectious diseases; 3) Degrading food production from increased plant and pest diseases; 4) Drought and famine; 5) Population displacements caused by crop failures, water shortages and natural disasters; 6) Failure of health resources and organized health infrastructures; 7) Wars over natural resources; and 8) Deaths caused by direct impact of heat and cold.

WHO says:  “. . .  if our understanding of . . .  climate and disease is realistic, then climate change may already be affecting human health.”

In ‘Climate Change ‘Driving Spread of Crop Pests,’ BBC’s Rebecca Morelle reports on findings from researchers at Exeter and Oxford:  “Climate change is helping pests and diseases that attack crops to spread around the world who claim pests with crop diseases are moving toward the north and south poles at two miles (3km) a year, establishing themselves in areas once too cold for their existence.

Dan Shapley of the Daily Green catalogues: ‘The Deadly Dozen: 12 Diseases Global Warming Incubates––From Lyme Disease to Ebola Virus, The World Is Getting Sicker:’ “The Wildlife Conservation Society has identified the ‘Deadly Dozen’––12 diseases that are likely to spread due to Global Warming.”

These include:  1)  Avian influenza, of which H5N1 “is currently a major concern for world governments and health 17012281organizations.” 2) Babesiosis – tick-borne diseases affecting domestic animals and wild life and now an emerging disease among people; 3) Cholera, a water-borne diarrheal disease.

Ebola hemorrhagic fever virus related to Marburg fever virus can easily kill people and members of gorilla families; 5) Intestinal and external parasites throughout land and water environments; 6) Lyme disease transmitted to people through tick bites; 7) Plague, known as Black Death spread by rats and fleas;

‘Red Tides’ meaning poisonous algal blooms deadly to humans and wildlife;  9) Rift Valley Fever emerging animal disease affecting domestic animals passed on to people through butchering; 10) Sleeping sickness, known as trypanosomiasis, transferred by the tsetse fly;

Tuberculosis transferred from cattle through un-pasteurized milk; 12) Yellow fever found in Central and South America carried by mosquitoes.

We will write more about these urgent issues in future blogs.  For now, let us rely on God’s Word in Christian messages:  “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. . . .He that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11: 1, 6), and turn to Him in prayer for comfort and assistance in these last days.

Global Warming Hot Months––Mosquitoes, Ticks & Measles Part 2

posted by Dr. Ad Versery Bored @ 16:36 PM
September 4, 2013

measles_300w    Sarah Newsworthy:  Doc, you say one form of West Nile Virus is more dangerous. And are these new cases of tick diseases and measles also tied to Global Warming?

Doc Ad Versery: Let’s take one at a time.  As of today, September 3, 2013, the Texas Department of State Health Services announced 31 cases of West Nile Virus, including 18 ‘milder’ forms with symptoms of fever, aches, rash and swollen lymph glands.  But 13 are neuroinvasive forms, potentially deadly.

Symptoms include headache, higher fever, stiffness, muscle weakness, even paralysis.  Patients can have tremors, convulsions, and even go into comas.  So far at least three patients in U.S. hospitals have died from this form of West Nile Virus.

Newsworthy: And that’s definitely attributable to Global Warming.  As Seth Borenstein writes “Mosquitoes Are Worse This Summer in Parts of the U.S.” He quotes a teacher complaining of mosquito assaults: “You can’t get from the car to inside our house without getting attacked, it’s that bad.”

Borenstein says states now have up to five times the normal rate of mosquito invasions. These bugs have even grown resistance to spraying pesticides.  Among the most deadly, Asian tiger mosquitos, were imported to the U.S. 25 years spraying-pesticidesago.

Doc Ad Versery: Which  brings us to this year’s measles outbreak.  Dr. Vincent Iannelli, M.D. posts exhaustive examples of patients who contracted measles through travel overseas, or who suffered exposure from travelers. Also, most patients contracting the disease did not have measles vaccinations.

He also explains:  “. . . measles cases are starting to rise in other countries too, especially in the UK, where there were over 1,200 cases of measles and one death in Swansea, Wales since November. . . . Of the 8,499 cases of measles in the European Union in the past 12 months, 82% were unvaccinated.”

Newsworthy:  Yes, in addition Mike Strobe writes about some parents who listened to rumors that vaccination shots can cause autism, so they avoided vaccinations and booster shots.  He also says that the same rumors prevent some parents from allowing vaccines for whooping cough, causing another outbreak.

Doc Adversy: Now while measles outbreaks may come from world travel, and of whooping cough from unfounded rumors, Global Warming defintely causes this new spread of tick diseases and other maladies.

In ‘Why Can’t I Get Better,’ Dr. Richard I. Horowitz, M.D. notes tick-borne illnesses that can accompany Lyme Disease:  Borrelia miyamotoi and Powassan encephalitis, which can be carried by the same ticks.  Unfortunately, “These pathogens join a rapidly expanding list of other bacteria, viruses and parasites that are transmitted by tick bites, including ehrlichia, anaplasma and babesia.”

Newsworthy:  Oh my.  Let us follow Rev. Repriestly’s advice and repeat Jeremiah’s prayer in wholesale Christian Bibles:  “Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for Thou art my praise (17: 14).”
