Something is amiss in the professed Body of Christ. Some well known ministries are warning that believers must store up to 25 years of food in case of power failure or war or some other dreaded tragedy. Most interesting are two recent articles in Charisma Magazine giving professed Christians instructions on how to stay alive in case they miss the Rapture—i.e. Christ’s Return near the earth to call true believers up to Him and take them to heaven.
On his daily broadcast, Pastor and TV Evangelist Jim Bakker speaks continuously that those who trust in God must start storing up food in preparation for holocaust-type events soon to take place on earth—especially in the U.S. God knows Bakker has gotten more than his share of persecution in past decades, but the publicized Body of Christ admits that he has more than come back from scandals, divorce and years in jail cells. Now on top of the Christian media heap again, Bakker daily warns believers to store buckets of specially prepared foods to get ready for the inevitable hard times just around the corner–hard times that may last two or three decades.
Similarly, in two articles—“What to Do If You Miss the Rapture, Part 1,” and “9 More Things to Do if You Miss the Rapture,” Dr. Dave Williams writes in Charisma News about at least 21 things professing Christians must do IF they miss the Rapture—i.e. if they are still here after Christ comes back to draw truly faithful and obedient Christians out of this world, taking them back to heaven with Him. (Just how does God’s Word define these two groups of professing Christians: hmm “Not every one that SAITH unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOETH the will of my Father which is in heaven (Matthew 7: 21).” (Caps added for emphasis!)
Williams—“ for over 30 years as pastor of Mount Hope Church in Lansing, Michigan, with over 500 outreach ministries around the world”– calmly tells those who miss the Rapture not to kill themselves, not to stay in or near large cities, not to deny being a Christian if questioned by police (for it is better just to be killed and go immediately to heaven, rather than to deny him and go to hell), and above all, he warns DO NOT go to church. You see, immediately after the True Church is taken up into heaven, the seven-year Tribulation (described in Revelation 6 to 17 in wholesale Christian Bibles)–when Satan tries to totally rule the billions left on earth to swear unchanging allegiance to him by carving his mark into their bodies and praising his evil, evil deeds—begins. So, why does Williams counsel erstwhile left ‘believers’ not go to church? Because Satan’s false prophets—who already rule in so many churches—will be in total control. The masks will come off. And the goal of all false prophets is to get people to believe in the anti-Christ, Satan’s last false god.
Why does this blogger find these two phenomena interesting to say the least? Because: No. 1 – True believers don’t have 25 years before Our Savior returns to take His true church to glory. At best, we may have a decade or less. The Signs of this short period: check Watchers, etc. multiply increasing: earthquakes, wars and rumors of wars, famines, diseases or pestilences, and disgraceful sinfulness (i.e. as in Sodom and Gomorrah) worsens daily.) See Matthew 24: 4 – 7. If things are so bad that power grids are out for months or years, the entire society will collapse: riots, thefts and murders will ensue. So try protecting years of stored food from raving, murderous maniacs.
The second thing I want to shout about William’s good advice: REPENT NOW. Don’t wait to be left behind on earth after true Christians are gone. Meekly come to His Throne, ask God’s forgiveness for neglecting Him and His Word, for loving money and the world more than you love Him, for staying in churches that you know do nothing but drain your faith. There are no possible substitutes for the True Gospel and the True Holy Spirit! Don’t take a chance that you can withstand Satan’s onslaughts during the Tribulation. Pray now for yourself, your family, your friends. Nothing, absolutely nothing in this present world, is worth your missing Jesus, the first time He comes back for you!
Last year, Bert Farias published the “Amazing 1927 Smith Wigglesworth Message” in which the noted prophet, evangelist and healer stated: “But there will be things that will happen prior to His coming that we shall know. . . You can tell. It is real fire from heaven that is making my utterances come to you to know that He is coming. He is on the way. . . There must be special preparation for the return of Christ and at least half of all believers will be totally unprepared. We have to see that these days have to come before the Lord can come. There has to be a falling away.”
Hmmm. If Wigglesworth—who is known to have raised 14 people from the dead—said that half of the Christians in his generation were not ready for the return of Christ, what must that percentage of those “not ready” be in this generation? Twenty-five percent? Ten percent? Smith continues: “This is the day of purifying. This is the day of holiness. This is the day of separation. This is the day of waking. O God, let us wake today! Let the inner spirit wake into consciousness that God is calling us.”
What words are these for this 21st century Christian confessing crowd: “purifying,” “holiness,” “separation” from the things of this world? This spiritual father must be joking: those words are anathema—or as Apostle Paul would say “accursed”–to most claiming to be part of The LORD Jesus today.
Today, women dress like men. Some men openly long to be women in their relationships with other men. Curse words flow like regular language out of the mouths of some who claim the Name of Christ. Yet all of these ‘ex-sinners’ claiming to be “born again,” at least sometimes, go to one kind of church or another. Fasting and mid-week prayer services that wait upon God’s anointing are unknown devotions in the majority of these “church” fellowships today, but church dinners served by and to vastly overweight members remain the norm. And, really how many of the pastors overseeing these services are born again themselves? If they are not true Christians, then who has placed them to head what are suppose to be God’s churches? Satan, the wicked one, placed them there is the answer.
Wigglesworth adds: “There are in the world two classes of believers. There are believers which are disobedient, or I ought to say there are children which are saved by the power of God which are disobedient children. And there are children which are just the same saved by the power of God who all the time are longing to be more obedient.” Is he saying that only the latter group will be called up to join The LORD Jesus in the clouds as 1 Thessalonians 2: 19 promises: “For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming?” Is he saying further that the disobedient children will have to face the horrors of the coming tribulation, or as Paul says, the wrath to come: “. . . for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost (2: 16).”
Truly, as 2016 comes to a close, churches and Christians in the United States are badly in need of revival—real Holy Ghost Spirit-filled revival. And if we don’t earnestly pray for this type of revival to sweep our land soon, these wrong types of churches, as well as this nation, stand very near the final judgment. The wholesale Bible promises in all of its 66 books, that God is coming to judge the earth. And earnest born-again committed Christians will return with Him to judge the earth:
“And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day (2 Thessalonians 1: 7 – 10).”
Things deteriorate in West Africa: Thousands, including medical personnel, die from the Ebola Virus, food and medical supplies run low, some areas suffer quarantine, and international communities only slowly respond to this emergency.
Apparently the ZMapp ‘miracle’ drug doesn’t work on everyone as well as it did on the two American workers recently released from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) hospital in Atlanta. The others who received the drug died recently. ZMapp and other suppliers work to produce more of the serum.
According to The Extension Protocol, as many as 13 people––including a doctor and four nurses––have died from a different strain of Ebola that broke out last week in the Democratic Republic of Congo, further south of the continent.
As in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea, affected areas are on quarantine.
Desperate to keep those within quarantined areas from escaping, Liberian troops use tear gas, forced curfews, and fire live ammunition on potential escapees. Clair MacDougall and James Harding Giahyue of Reuters report that in Monrovia, some four people are injured during attempted escapes.
The World Health Organization (WHO) says it cannot contain the disease outbreak without another $ 430 million dollars. International officials are most concerned that the virus doesn’t jump to more heavily populated South Africa, or spread further in Nigeria, the most prosperous African nation.
WHO told Giahyue: “. . . the countries hit by the worst ever outbreak of the deadly virus were beginning to suffer shortages of fuel, food and basic supplies after shipping companies and airlines suspended services to the region. Liberia said its Ministry of Health warehouse had run out of rubber boots and bottles of hand sanitizer, essential for preventing the spread of the disease.”
Michael J. Nyenhuis, President of AmeriCares writes that it: “. . . has been working closely with our pharmaceutical donors . . supporting these health workers on the front lines. Shipments of urgently needed supplies and supportive care medicines to the affected areas are in transit,” but donations are urgently needed.
Meanwhile, Canada, China, the U. S., etc. have pulled their medical teams out of affected nations. The Economic Collapse.com pleads: “The outbreak of Ebola virus disease in west Africa is unprecedented in many ways, including the high proportion of doctors, nurses, and other health care workers who have been infected. To date, more than 240 health care workers have developed the disease in Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone, and more than 120 have died.
“During past outbreaks, few health workers have contracted the virus. . .once the virus was identified proper safety measures were put into place, ‘cases among medical staff dropped dramatically.’ Unfortunately, . . this outbreak is ‘different’ and the virus continues to spread among medical personnel . . .When are people in the western world going to wake up and start taking this disease seriously?”
Good question! And when will those in the Body of Christ wake up and understand that the world needs genuine Holy Spirit-led revivals that include workers with gifts of healings? As plus size Christian sweatshirts aver: “ . . . God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings (1 Corinthians 12: 28).” Please pray!
Russia’s move yesterday toward over-taking the rest of Ukraine has thrown world economies into a tail-spin––including the billionaire fortunes of its oligarchy. U.S. stock markets fell several points. They remain nervous today.
Much of the concern is over Russia’s threat on its ‘right’ to invade all of Ukraine in order to “control violence” if Crimean residents vote this Sunday to secede from Ukraine and join the Russian federation.
Secretary of State Kerry’s attempts today to mediate a settlement with Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, failed. Kerry told the Washington Post: “there will be consequences if Russia does not find a way to change course.” And he said there would be “an even greater response” if Russia were to “threaten the Ukrainian people,” such as by sending forces into eastern Ukraine.
Pointing out that China’s economy is also in down-fall, today’s ‘Investor’s Business Daily’ headlines: “U.S. stocks fell on higher volume Thursday, erasing this year’s gains for the S&P 500, as tensions in Ukraine and weaker data from China overshadowed reports showing an improving American economy.”
Agnes Lovasz of bloomberg.com avers: “President Vladimir Putin’s brinkmanship in Ukraine has already cost some of his closest comrades billions of dollars. The other 144 million Russians may also pay a price.”
Lovasz quotes Timothy Ash, chief emerging-market economist at Standard Bank Group Ltd. in London: “Russia will be the big loser of the crisis in Ukraine . . . There’ll be a big hit to domestic and foreign confidence, less investment and likely increased outflows, likely losses for Russian banks with exposure in Ukraine, a weaker ruble and weaker growth and recovery.”
In ‘Putin’s Ukraine Gambit Hurts Economy as Allies Lose Billions, Lovasz points out: “The tensest standoff with the West since the end of the Cold War is exposing the weakness of an economy rebuilt on the back of the energy industry. With oil and gas accounting for more than half of all exports and energy prices stagnant, the growth potential is all but exhausted, prompting officials in Moscow to sound the recession alarm.” But a new economic war is a much louder alarm!
Thus, this whole Ukrainian drama may be to cover up the fact that Russia’s economy is failing, even as those in the rest of Europe and the U.S. recover! However, instead of helping its economy, the ‘war’ in Ukraine may well worsen it.
Karl Henkel on The Detroit News writes today in ‘Ukraine Crisis Makes Carmakers Wary of Russia’: “The geopolitical struggle over Ukraine could slow growth in Russia’s auto market, which until recently was considered a diamond in the rough . . . but the problems facing [it] aren’t confined to its reaction to the uncertainty over the future of Crimea in the Ukraine.”
As discussed in the last ‘economy blog,’ Russia’s attempts to play offense in an economic war, belies its extremely defensive position. Vladimir Putin is a very proud man who wants his nation to be on par with the U.S. and E.U. To cover up his country’s failures, he will push for land and economic expansion until it starts a hot World War III, and China will, of course, join him for the same reasons.
But as used Christian Bibles promise: “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall (Proverbs 16: 18).” Only this time, Putin will bring down many more in destruction other than himself, Russia, or the Ukraine!
Those reporting on U.S.EU-Russian tensions in the Ukraine seldom dwell on what the economic costs would be if the situation is not soon resolved. The United States has good reason to want Russia to back off its military aggression in Ukraine and the Crimea. Failure to do so will cost the U.S. and Europe great economic loss.
Tyler Allen of ibisworld.com warns: “Although the United States will likely remain unaffected in the short term, a prolonged or growing crisis could lead to long-term economic consequences, including trade sanctions and spikes in commodity prices.”
Ukraine and Crimea export 10% to 17% of global wheat and coarse grain production. “Fears that grain exports from the region could be interrupted caused agricultural commodity prices to spike.”
In ‘Ukraine and U.S. Economics: The Fiscal Consequences of Conflict Between Russia and Ukraine,’ Allen adds: “Russia is a growing market and supply chain partner for the US automotive, aerospace and energy sectors.
“Last year, US auto manufacturers exported $1.2 billion worth of goods to Russia, according to the United States International Trade Commission (ITC). General Motors, the largest auto manufacturer in the United States, sold 258,000 vehicles in Russia, giving it a 9.1% share of the total market in the country.”
In ‘5 Reasons War in Ukraine Should Worry You,’ Rich Smith lists the many ways Russia’s invasion in Ukraine can eventually affect world economic markets, including: 1) Oil companies: Royal Dutch Shell, Chevron and Exxon, have $ 10 billion exploration agreements with Ukraine––disruption would affect gas prices; 2) Steelmakers: ArcelorMittal has one of the largest steel mills in Europe;
3) Consumer Goods: “Any number of consumer goods count Ukraine as an important market. Western purveyors of detergent, toothpaste, food goods, and so on, all operate within Ukraine, and many own subsidiaries in the country.
4) Military Suppliers: In order for Ukraine to strengthen its military weaknesses, it will eventually have to acquire better weapons; and that would call for: 5) Airplane Makers: Smith advises “Ukraine is an important market for foreign commercial aircraft. Ukraine International Airlines has four Boeing 737-900s on order. UTair-Ukraine is an even bigger customer––and has 40 Boeing new 737s on order.” A cancellation would greatly affect the U.S. economy.
Danny Vinik adds in ‘The Crisis in Ukraine Could Hurt Your Wallet:’ “. . . the chance of an armed conflict in Ukraine is growing by the hour. If that happens, there would be economic costs that could ripple across the global economy—and even cause higher gas prices and plane fares in the U.S.”
He and other economists explain the European Union would sustain even greater losses in crude oil and natural gas as the EU imports 85% of these fuels from Russia. “But prices are set by the global market. Any supply shocks in Europe that send prices higher will have ripple effects that raise gas prices in the United States.” Vinik writes that such prospects already affect economic markets.
This blog’s sister site, worldscollide-culture-christianity-endoftime.com speaks continually of the pending World War III. But there is more than one type of war. Now it appears that the world is indeed headed for an all-out economic war.
As phrases often embedded in Christian Word puzzles say, now is the time to pray and to: “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called . . . (1 Timothy 6: 12).” A believer’s faithful prayer changes things.
Why Russia thinks it needs a piece of Ukraine, when it faces severe terrorism from Muslims in the Caucasus, or why China usually ignores Muslim rebels in Uyghur––pose intriguing questions. Some areas are too large to rule over.
In warning about possible Muslim attacks before the Sochi Games, Hayes Brown wrote: “The states of Dagestan, Ingushetia, and Chechnya both lie beyond the Caucasus mountain range from Krasnodar Krai, home to Sochi, and that is what has Russian officials the most concerned.
“All three states have majority Muslim populations that have struggled against Moscow’s rule for decades, with Chechnya in particular fighting several all-out wars launched to keep them within the Federation. Russian President Vladimir Putin came to power during the second of these wars, which saw him accused of using excessive force against civilians.”
Just as Putin refuses to understand that Ukrainians and Chechens want to be freed from Russian rule, his Chinese counterpart remains blinded about Uyghur Muslims, in Xingiang province, despite repeated attacks from Muslim rebels.
Last week, some 10 Muslim separatists covered in all black karate-type uniforms, and carrying unbelievably huge slaughtering knives hacked down some 30 innocent Chinese citizens in a crowded subway station, and injured 130 more.
That attack came a scant few days before the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the National People’s Congress now being held. The attacks mounted huge embarrassment to Chinese Communist officials.
But it was not as bad as it could have been. In 2009, during heavy fighting between Uyghurs and ethnic Chinese in Xingiang some 200 people were killed. Most Muslims in Xingiang remain angered because China continually tries to restriction their culture and religion. China cannot force people to be atheists.
According to Dennis Lynch of ibtimes.com: “The Chinese government vehemently denies that it oppresses any minorities in Xinjiang and regularly claims the separatists are religious extremists that ‘mislead the public and deceive world opinion in order to escape blows dealt by the international struggle against terrorism’.” Rebels have resisted Chinese with riots, bombing, etc. all this century.
Lynch posits the rebels want to be fully independent of China in a separate Uyghur state, known as East Turkestan. This makes some sense as “Xinjiang borders Mongolia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India.” And most of those nations are Muslim as well.
Again, why China expanded its rule over the region in 1949 is unexplainable. Why do China and Russia insist on ruling over people who resist their rule? To further express discontent, two Uyghur terrorists set a SUV on fire and ran down two tourists in the middle of Beijing’s famous Tiananmen Square.
Bible prophesies promise that very soon, no nation will be able to rule over another for The LORD Jesus Christ will rule over then all: “And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats (Matthew 25: 32).”
Asia’s obsession with eating Ancient Sea Turtles, and other anomalies from greedy sea hunters––i.e. garbage dumping, overfishing, and waters infected by Global Warming––has freed avaricious jellyfish to take over the world’s oceans.
By feasting continuously on fish eggs, these deadly stinging beasts make ‘normal’ fish populations disappear. They attack industrial energy lines, stop up fish hatcheries, and make normal human livelihood along ocean coasts impossible.
Ecologist Sun Song, from China’s Institute of Oceanology contends that jellyfish taking over oceans drives civilization back “to the Precambrian world, more than 550 million years ago.” Such warnings should awakened world leaders?
In reporting on his study, ‘Massive Outbreak of Jellyfish Could Spell Trouble for Fisheries,’ for Yale University’s School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, Richard Stone says:
“In recent years, populations of several jellyfish species have made inroads at the expense of their main competitor—fish—in a number of regions, including the Yellow Sea, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Black Sea.” Stone is particularly concerned about the monstrous Nomura’s jellyfish:
“It’s the size of a refrigerator—imagine a Frigidaire Gallery Premiere rather than a hotel minibar—and can exceed 450 pounds.” For decades this giant was only seen in the Sea of Japan. Then Stone writes that something changed:
“Since 2002, the population has exploded—in jelly parlance, bloomed—six times. In 2005, a particularly bad year, the Sea of Japan brimmed with as many as 20 billion of the bobbing bags of blubber, bludgeoning fisheries with 30 billion yen in losses. . . Jellyfish blooms can be caused by eutrophication, which can create dead zones around mouths of rivers.” Again, dead zones kill all fish life in waters.
AFP News adds that jellyfish endanger large fish eatable for mankind: “Marine biologists say they have proof that excessive trawling of small fish species leads to proliferation of jellyfish, a worsening phenomenon whose causes have been unclear.” For example, “In the 1960s, the waters off Namibia used to yield 10 million tons of sardines annually. This has been replaced by 12 million tons of jellyfish,” says Philippe Cury at France’s Institute for Development Research.
Dr. Ever posted on this blog three years ago: “God created this earth with a delicate balance of the ecosystem. . . . sea turtles are needed to eat jellyfish or else jellyfish consume all fish and plant life beneath them . . .” But nations in charge of stopping sea turtle slaughters ignored such warnings. And now it may be too late.
Jellyfish stings are the most deadly ocean killers, even killing greater numbers than sharks. Its poisons can kill a human being in less than three minutes. Such carnage will surely ruin most tourist industries. And, of course, lost of eatable fish will likewise destroy seafood businesses, also affecting grocery sales.
So sea turtles and fish now view their last days on earth. How soon can the same be said for mankind, whose foolish leaders see neither the present nor future enemies in nature that their own negligence created?
Perhaps this is why the Book of Revelation refers to Satan’s anti-Christ as “a beast rise up out of the sea (13: 1),” or why after “. . . the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea (21: 1),” God will have to destroy His beautiful seas, as jellyfish will have eaten everything in them!
Today a few knowledgeable people attempt to celebrate World Food Day, but sadness prevails among them. Some in richer nations continue to exorbitantly waste food, while others in poorer situations constantly battle starvation.
Eager advocates still hope to establish what they refer to as global food security. As Nicholas Nelson, North American Director of the Food and Agriculture Organization explains: “To live in a world free of hunger, we must create food systems that ensure a plentiful supply of nutritious food with minimal impact on our environment.
“Our food systems must consider sustainability in every step of the supply chain: from production to processing, transportation to retail, and consumption to post-consumption waste.” But economic interests interfere with such idealism.
In ‘Masses of Food Wasted––‘Use By’ Dates Mislead,’ Carolyn Lochhead of SFgate.com writes: “Americans throw away 40 percent of the food they buy, often because of misleading expiration dates that have nothing to do with safety.”
Her findings are based on a study by Harvard University Law School and the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). Dana Gunders of the NRDC claims: “The date labeling system is not a system at all.” It is based entirely on what retailers call “inventory control.”
Ted Labuza, University of Minnesota food science professor, says such control is based on what food ‘makers‘ and ‘sellers‘ believe to be peak quality. “If food looks rotten and smells bad, throw it away, but just because it reaches a certain date does not mean the food is unsafe. I don’t know of any food poisoning outbreak that came from people eating food that was past its shelf-life date.”
Thus, to preserve profits for such manipulators, almost half of the food in the U.S. is labeled ‘spoiled.’ In ‘About 40 Percent Of All Food In The United States Is Thrown In The Garbage, The Economic Collapse reveals:
“Even though 47 million Americans are on food stamps and millions of children go to bed hungry in this country every single night, we continue to waste approximately 263 million pounds of food every single day of the year. One day people will look back and regard us as probably the most wasteful society in the history of the planet.” The Seattle times says that such wasted food takes up more space in landfills than any other trash.
“Some $900 million of expired food is dumped from the supply chain annually, much of it a result of confusion. Misinterpreted date labels cause the average American household of four to lose as much as $455 a year on squandered food, according to researchers.”
So congratulations to those in the richest country on earth with enough abundance to throw away half of it to rot, contaminating land fills with massive greenhouse gas methane, emitting double the potency of deadly carbon dioxide.
Such waste is grievous sin in the eyes of God, and may well result in ultimate judgment. As Bible prophecies quote Him: “I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools (Isaiah 42: 15).”
Some in the U.S. House of Representatives have moved circling chaos beyond the Affordable Care Act to failure to raise the U.S. Debt Ceiling. Most Americans have no idea how such a move would affect their lives.
According to experts, defaulting on U.S. debt would probably: halt social security payments; implode savings, investment and retirement accounts; make banks insolvent; crash the stock market to unimaginable levels; destroy bond holdings, etc. All of which means more than horrendous consequences.
“If they seriously default on the debt, what we’re really talking about is a depression . . . the fallout would be a lot worse than the recession suffered in 2008 and the aftershocks would be felt for at least a decade,” veteran financial sector analyst Richard Bove of Rafferty Capital Markets told Yahoo Finance.
“The first thing you have to do is look at who holds the debt. The first, biggest owner (of U.S. debt) is the social security fund, so you’d have all of these people who are receiving social security payments who now have to question whether they’ll get their payments.”
Already, The Extension Protocol reports, banks are over-stuffing their ATM machines in case depositors attempt panic withdrawals. Tyler Durden of Zero Hedge adds: “Banks are also holding daily emergency meetings to discuss other steps, including possible free overdrafts for customers reliant on social security payments from the government.”
The Treasury Department warned in a report last week: “Considering the experience of countries around the world that have defaulted on their debt, not only might the economic consequences of default be profound, but those consequences ––including high interest rates, reduced investment, higher debt payments, and slow economic growth––could last for more than a generation.”
Bove also cries out: “Eleven-percent of all U.S. debt is owned by the Chinese. That $1.4 trillion represents about a third of the reserves of the People’s Bank of China [PBOC], so what we’ve now said to the PBOC is, ‘Watch out, we may hit the value of a third of your assets and you can’t do anything about it.’”
Just as Dr. Jael said in setting off alarm bells on our Worlds Collide blog, such ‘theft’ of China’s assets would usher in World War III.
During the last world-wide Christian revivals, country folks had a song, ‘Jesus Is On The Main Line, Tell Him What You Want.’ Its good advice to call one’s Congressman and complain. But it’s even more important to pray.
As Apostle Paul expounds in used Christian Bibles: “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty (1 Timothy 2: 1 – 2).”
The prayers of faithful Christians standing against the ignorance and tyranny of vicious, careless men are God’s power to keep this nation safe from such catastrophe. But it only works if believers get on that Main Line and tell Jesus what they want!
Most people remain unaware that October is the high witchcraft activity month around the world. Thus, don’t be surprised at the U.S. government shutdown, possible default that could send the world into another Great Depression, suicides and police shootings at the White House, unexpected tornadoes or other things this fall. Witch-crafters design them for failure and death.
In ‘ Witches and Warlock––Annual Wiccan Holidays,’ Holiday Insights.com explains: “There are eight holidays on the Wiccan Calendar. These Wiccan holidays are called ‘Sabbats.’ The [Wicca] New Year begins on October 31st, Halloween night . . . witches and warlocks celebrate their holidays from sundown on the date of the holiday through sundown the next day.
“Also known as Samhain or All Hallow’s Eve. This is New Years on the Druid calendar. The wall between earth and the underworld is thin at this time of year. On Halloween night, the wall opens. Samhain, the Lord of Darkness, rises from the underworld. He roams the world looking for lost souls. It is an evil and wicked night, a perfect night for a witch to celebrate New Years!”
Yes. Satan himself visits witchcraft celebratory sights around the world on October 31st. Such rituals were common practices in the pagan world that true Christianity battled against and won in most nations during the last 2,000 years.
That phenomenal success pushed such witchcraft practices––including child kidnapping, drug and human trafficking, prostitution of all types, and human sacrifices––underground. It is now done in heavily wooded areas or in deep sub-terranian basements. These covens include many prominent people in high places.
In her book, ‘The Witch That Switched,’ Irene Park, an ex-witch who reigned high up in Satanic circles before she found The LORD Jesus Christ as Savior, discusses some of these practices in detail.
In online Bible lessons, The Apostle Paul cautions Christians not to “have fellowship” with such works of darkness. Having fellowship would include not imitating––such as in Halloween costuming––but exposing them where possible:
“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light (Ephesians 5: 11 – 13).”
Halloween is not a time of holi/holy days for Christians. Costumes and masks represent evil, because they hide reality. This year––perhaps more urgent as the world is so near the end of time––October demands Christians to fervently pray for God’s protection over individuals, families and nations.
